Utterly appalling experience on Sunday 6th October. We were initially greeted at the door by an incredibly rude woman, immediate red flag. She saw we were with our toddler and advised they had no highchairs and we would have to wait. They seated us in a makeshift conservatory with no AC and plastic windows. I ordered for my daughter first, when her food came I still had no highchair and had to go round the restaurant myself asking tables if they had finished with their highchair so my daughter could used it. I secured a hight chair. Next hurdle, no napkins or cutlery, I asked 3 separate staff members, in the end, I had to take it from a vacant table. We then placed our food order, I asked what the pie of the day was and was informed it was beef & rosemary, I specifically asked if there were mushrooms in it as I have an allergy, she said there were no mushrooms in the pie. I then ordered the wine for our meal, I requested 2 carafes of red wine, the waiter came with 2 glasses, I advised this was not what we ordered and he went away and another guy came back with another 2 glasses of wine, once again, this is not what I ordered, on the 4th attempt, we finally got what we ordered. Then our food came, I was eating the pie and then discovered the were mushrooms in the pie, it took 10 minutes for someone to come over and try to explain their mistake, by this point, we had given up. The staff at this restaurant truly went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions when I was unsure of what to order. Their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for their work made me feel valued as a customer.

Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, my taste buds were in absolute heaven! Every dish that was brought out to my table was a sensory delight. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was beautiful. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their creations, and their passion and skill shone through in every bite.

Second time here , so far we have tried 3 Sunday roasts with friends , classic chicken, fettuccine, beef burgers , battered fish and chips ice tea , kids meal pizza , fish n chip and penne pasta and I can safely say it’s the pathetic place for lunch . Apart from that , this place is not welcoming at all , if anything I liked the Filipino waitress but she was not serving us . Other one was not welcoming and I regret both times she served us . Extra loud on our table while other tables she would be nicely attending other guests . It’s so ignorant of staff if they pick which guests they will be nice while to others they will be rude and ruin their day . I like the ambience and atmosphere , next time and maybe last time I’ll try the dessert or tea and specifically request for this black haired lady not to serve us . And let us have tenten. But not her . I will b happy to change my review if I see some difference . Oh while one child was given colors to play , mine wasn’t .
