Pakistani food has always been famous for its rich taste, deep flavors, and variety of dishes, and even though in many places outside Pakistan it is considered quite expensive, people still love to enjoy it because of the unique satisfaction it gives. When you compare the price of Pakistani food in restaurants abroad with the cost of the same food in Pakistan, you will notice a big difference, because in Pakistan the ingredients are cheaper and easily available, while outside Pakistan they are often imported, which makes the overall price much higher. Still, many people, especially Pakistanis living abroad, prefer to spend on these dishes because it reminds them of home and gives them a connection with their culture. Dishes like biryani, nihari, haleem, seekh kebabs, chicken karahi, and fresh naan are always in demand, and even though a single plate may cost double or triple the price compared to Pakistan, the taste, freshness, and aroma make the experience worth it. The spices, herbs, and cooking techniques used in Pakistani cuisine are very special, and most of the time, restaurants abroad try their best to maintain the original flavor, which is why they need expert chefs and authentic spices, again increasing the cost. For example, a simple chicken karahi in Pakistan might be very affordable, but the same dish in Dubai, London, or New York can be ten times more expensive, yet people still order it with happiness because they know nothing else can match that flavor. Pakistani food is not just about filling the stomach, it is about enjoying a tradition, sharing meals with friends and family, and experiencing the joy of spicy, tangy, and mouth-watering flavors that stay in memory. Even non-Pakistanis who taste it for the first time are amazed at how different it is from ordinary food, and many become regular customers despite the higher prices. In fact, the high demand for Pakistani cuisine in many countries proves that taste always wins over cost, because food is an emotion and people are willing to pay for quality and flavor. Another reason why the prices are high is that Pakistani food is usually freshly prepared; most dishes take time, effort, and a lot of ingredients, unlike fast food that is cheap and quickly made. So, when you go to a restaurant and see a higher price tag, you should remember that you are not just paying for food, you are paying for quality ingredients, authentic spices, professional chefs, and the overall cultural experience. For people living far away from Pakistan, this experience is priceless, because it connects them back to their roots. No matter how expensive it is, the taste of Pakistani food is truly unmatched, and once you enjoy it, you realize why people all around the world are ready to spend extra for such delicious flavors. In the end, the cost may feel heavy on the pocket, but the happiness, satisfaction, and memories created with every bite make it more...

Food was so tempting forgot to take breakfast pictures so posting some of their bakery items.

Rahat Sweet and Bakery is nothing short of a culinary treasure for anyone who craves authentic Pakistani flavors. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with an atmosphere that is clean, welcoming, and a testament to their dedication to hygiene and quality.

Their breakfast offerings are an absolute delight. The mutton paya is a masterpiece perfectly spiced, tender, and brimming with authentic flavors that remind you of traditional home cooking. Paired with their soft, fresh bread, it’s a meal that sets the tone for the day. The halwa puri breakfast is another standout, with its fluffy puris, rich, aromatic halwa, and perfectly balanced chana curry. It’s an indulgence that’s hard to resist.

As the day transitions into evening, Rahat Sweet and Bakery transforms into a hub for BBQ lovers. Their selection of grilled items is cooked to perfection, boasting smoky, juicy, and flavorful bites that are simply unforgettable.

Whether you’re here for breakfast, an evening meal, or their tempting array of desserts and bakery items, Rahat Sweet and Bakery never disappoints. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone looking to experience the rich, authentic taste of Pakistan in a setting that values cleanliness and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

I gave 4 stars due to car parking issue. Later, they informed us about parking availability on the opposite side of the road. Anyway, dining out in this restaurant is an excellent choice. Great Pakistani food taste with wonderful sitting area inside/outside. There's flat 30% off on the bill from 13:00Hrs to 18:00Hrs. We ordered this delicious BBQ Platter The BBQ was a wonderful mix of flavours and textures, offering something for everyone. The fish tikka was perfectly grilled — tender, flaky, and packed with smoky, spiced flavours. The malai boti and chicken breast was impressively juicy and creamy, with a delicate marinade that made each bite rich without feeling heavy.

Both the chicken kabab and mutton kabab were seasoned beautifully — juicy inside with a nice char on the outside, striking a great balance between spice and smokiness. The real highlight, however, was the mutton ribs: they were soft, succulent, and cooked just right, coming off the bone effortlessly with complementary salad, tamarind and yogurt chutteny was nice. I insisted on the discount (above mentioned) so they manager Kashif Ali offered us free desert.

Overall, it delivered an authentic Pakistani experience with a great variety of meats and traditional sides. I recommend everyone who is eager to enjoy Pakistani taste...
