Butt Karahi in Sharjah offers a decent dining experience, with free parking provided by the restaurant, which is definitely a plus. We ordered the half kg chicken karahi for 35 AED, chicken kebab handi, roghni naan, and sweet lassi. The portions were good, and there was a generous amount of gravy in both the karahi and handi.

The chicken kebab handi stood out as the best dish of the meal—flavorful and well-cooked. You can request dishes to be made spicy if you prefer. The food took a while to arrive, but that’s understandable since everything is made fresh.

On the downside, the menu prices are higher than what you’d typically find at other Pakistani restaurants in the area. The desi chicken karahi and mutton karahi, in particular, were very expensive, so we didn’t order those.

While the food was decent, it didn’t leave a lasting impression, and I’m not likely to return. However, it’s still a good place to try if you’re in the mood for freshly cooked Pakistani food and don’t mind the wait or...

I had ordered Mutton Chops along with other items, but the dish was not properly cooked and had an unpleasant smell, making it difficult to eat. I informed the duty manager, and instead of addressing my concern properly, he replaced the dish with Mutton Kabab—which I had not ordered. I politely requested that it be changed to Chicken Kabab, which was already part of my order, but my request was ignored.

What was even more concerning was the manager’s lack of response and unwillingness to resolve the matter on the spot. This left me feeling very embarrassed, as my guest could not eat properly due to the situation.
