Bankhead Inn — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Bar very basic, Glasses filthy. I had bottled beer so it was ok but my colleague had draft larger followed by gut rot! Myself and my colleague were walked through the kitchen to get to our accommodation which after seeing the kitchen put us off wanting to eat there. We were then shown to the £75.00 a night accommodation which was disgusting! The room had no ensuite which is fair enough but we weren't expecting to have to share a bathroom with the landlady and her entire family, the toilet looked like it had never seen a bottle of bleach, it was pure filth. The bath was black with grime and to be fair I wouldn't of even bathed my dog in it let alone use it myself. We did suffer 1 out of the original 6 nights booked to be woken by the landlords coming in shouting after 1am which seeing's we were up early for work was totally inconsiderate. One of the best decisions I made in Aberdeen was deciding to stop here to kill some time waiting for friends. A very friendly and welcoming bunch, and Scott the barman was hospitable and amazing. Nice wee pub wasn't ken on the fundrel tea i was where for,sandwiches were a bit stale and the sausage rolls didn't have much sausage meat in them. Would not recommend here for a send off...
