Great vision and determination to create this wonderful observation point. One small way to highlight the fragile beauty of our wildlife we are blessed to have on our shores. At last too ,vegan and vegetarian options for my veqan wife.đŸ‘đŸ» Also, nothing related to the Centre, but a great idea to build two compost toilets 60 yards away is let down by the failure to fit usable locks on the doors,!! I had to have a pee holding the door shut with one hand!

A lovely little cafĂ© at the top of a windy hill. They don’t serve lunch/ breakfast, but they do have coffee and a small selection of cakes to choose from. Although we didn’t see any dolphins, the view from the cafĂ© is amazing, and it’s quite calming to watch the wind blow past the shipping container. They do have toilets, but they’re outside compost toilets with instructions on how to use them.

Are you in near Aberdeen city centre? This is a possible walk 37min or short taxi away. Nice distance away to enjoy the harbour views without road traffic noise. Of course I do recommend coffee/tea and a cake. If carrot cake is on offer đŸ‘đŸŸđŸ˜‹. They have oat milk as well. What ever the weather worth a visit. Staff are very friendly &great local businesses to support.

It really breaks my heart to give one of my favourite places in Aberdeen such a low score, but since the 2025 reopening the coffee quality is awful.

I loved coming up here for a fantastic cup of coffee and some sweet treats while enjoying the stunning view, but now I can barely get myself to go once a week.

The food is still great and the staff is fantastic, but for some reason the coffee quality just plummeted. During the Liberty kitchen or Mount era there was always an exciting local roast to try like Sacred Grounds and the coffee was made by excellent barristas. Now it tastes like an average Starbucks coffee - which is an awful development.

Every time I go, if I get a milky drink the milk is at least moderately burned and the whole drink is very hot. The coffee itself is also medium at best. I drink a lot of black coffee and sadly this new roast here is just not delivering. It really just feels like going to Starbucks.

Summary:

Fantastic staff, decent food, insane view, bad coffee. If you like standard Starbucks quality bad coffee this will be fine for you, but if you enjoyed the exciting variety and specialty coffee that was provided by the previous cafes you will be deeply...

I’ve been visiting this place occasionally since it first opened. Back then, the original management — ran it really well. The seating area was clean and tidy, the cakes were lovely, and the hot drinks were great. It was a nice little spot to relax.

Unfortunately, the new management has completely ruined it. What a disappointment. The seating area is no longer well-kept, the coffee is awful (honestly, McDonald’s coffee tastes better), and they don’t even serve cakes anymore. Instead, you’ll find cheap, terrible fudge and a few low-quality snacks.

It’s clear they’re trying to ride on the good reputation built by the previous management, while cutting corners and cashing in — such a shame. Honestly, it feels like it’d be better to bring your own coffee and cake and just pay them for the seats, at least that way you won’t be let down.

I truly wish the previous management would come back so everyone could enjoy the great coffee and beautiful sea...

Great spot for spotting seals, dolphins and sea birds however the cafe was so dissapointing and over priced for what you got. The iced tea had 0 flavour, it tasted like cheap flavoured water. The matcha hardly had any matcha in it and it tasted like cow milk. The bakes we got were also not fresh. The sizes were disappointingly small. The worst part was how unbothered the guys looked. None bothered to take the order and the curly haired guy seemed preoccupied by anything but taking the orders despite the queue forming outside
Very very disappointing! So much potential for the place! Will sadly not be back
Save your money, plenty nice cafes elsewhere in Aberdeen with much...
