I stopped off here after a very long day, we arrived at 8.40pm, the first you thing you notice is the staff have packed up so people can not eat on site, so an hour and half early. My colleague and I ordered our food seperately, we even had a discussion about the food whilst we ordered, there were three members of staff on, a man that seemed to be doing all the work, a worker out the back and who i assume was the shift manager talking to her friend. We finished the order, and both the self service tills were out of paper for receipts, i used the toilet, and things like the drier didnt work. My food was being bagged, when i noticed on the screen that it was not the burger i ordered listed, i check with the gentleman who was polite and told me the name of the burger, which is not what i ordered, i explained this him, he referred to the shift manager, who straight away went confrontational, and said that is what i ordered, i tried to explain i didnt, ironically the burger they gave me , my colleague and i discussed after ordering and said it looked nice, but not the type of burger to eat in your car as it would be messy, everytime i tried to speak she cut me off and was extremely rude, It is very hard to misorder, as whopper has a nice big picture on it, but the manager was insist, that she was right. If the owner would like to contact me i will happyily discuss what i do for a living and could even point them in the direction of resolving the issue they seem to have with the self service tills. In the end i walked out because after a long day i would have lost my manners and someone that is not worth it. As this woman acted like a manager, i would be deeply concerned if i was her boss for the following reasons, First, the way she acted in front of new employee's (guessing by how he served he was still learning, but polite) and she will teach them that this kind of behaviour is acceptable. Second, at least hour an half (takes time to block of all the tables) before the business closes, they are making it looked closed from outside and will push people to eat next door. Third she had time to talk to her friend and kill the time until she finishs, but cant be bothered to restock things like the receipt paper. It may be worth retraining her and not have her in...
Read moreI went to the burger king Arundel Rd, Walberton BN18. A gentleman was waiting for his order, and had been waiting for 30 minutes. When he complained the team leader at first ignored him, then would not look directly at him, and finally gave an excuse that there was a problem with cooking fries. My partner and i had also ordered a meal, including fries but had not been made aware that there was any issue. The gentleman understandably asked for a refund which was given. To make matters worse once he left the restaurant the team leader and the rest of the staff thought the whole incident was funny and were laughing about it in front of all the waiting customers. I had to wait a further 5 minutes (20 in total) to recieve my meal, which was cold. I ate food in the car outside, as the restaurant was not clean, and saw the same team leader returning from another shop with a coffee, which she went behind the store to drink. After such a bad experience for a customer and an issue with the cooking of fries, this surprised me greatly. I was at no time given a receipt, told there would be a delay in my order or given any apology. Disgusted with the staff at...
Read moreWould normally never eat at these establishments, but just arrived back from holiday and driving home... hungry and desperate so stopped at Burger King. Utterly disgusting... outside was strewn with rubbish. Toilets (ladies) were so vile it was unbelievable - filthy, no loo roll.. possibly the most revolting toilets I have ever visited. The restaurant itself was dirty, untidy - member of staff behind the sandwich area on mobile phone ignoring everything. Half empty boxes of sweets piled on the counters, everything looked dirty, and we didn't dare order anything to eat. Moved on our journey and stopped at Havant burger king. Tried to order fish fillet as I don't eat meat... they had 'run out'. So had to order 'spicy bean burger'. This was served in the takeaway bag with the chips chucking in haphazardly so they all fell out, no salt, no offer of sauce... requested mayo in the bean burger - a mere scraping on the top of the bun. Bean burger was soggy, tasted hideous - upon first bite I found a small black pencil stuck to the roll... no serviettes in the bag - worst experience in any fast food restaurant I ever experienced. Avoid...
