We stopped at this beautiful cafe for a cuppa and a bite to eat whilst on gallery deliveries in the area. It is very easy to find just off the A27. Just turn off left soon after the roundabout and follow the signs to Denmans Garden. The road leads to a huge car park with lots of bays and plenty of turning space. We parked up and walked through a covered walkway with a lovely gift shop on our left. We followed the sign to the right through a small gravel area with trees and a water feature to the cafe which was in front of us. You walk into a big airy room with big glass windows and a modern spacious tabled area. There was also sofa seating to the right. (Toilets are at the back of this area, very clean and with hot water and nice liquid hand soap as well as sanitiser). We walked past the seating area, straight on through to the serving area ahead of us and found a few more tables there. It was very quiet when we visited so we sat here, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas and a very calm atmosphere. Our original menu choice of ham, egg and hash (£10.99 each) wasn’t available so we opted for steak pie with peas and mash instead (£11.99 each). The drinks came quickly and the food came a short while later. The pie came in an individual dish with a beautifully light puff pastry top. There was plenty of steak in the filling, delicious and so tender, in a very tasty gravy! The mash and peas were hot and well cooked too. Fantastic quality food, served by lovely helpful people! A real find! And saved to my Google Maps for next time we’re in the area! (Maybe coffee and some of that great looking cake next time!).

We popped in for a vegan full English breakfast and were tempted in by the description, but were left disappointed. There weren't any sausages available, nor vegan butter. We were told we would be given extra items instead but didn't. The sourdough was over-toasted, so we had to leave most of it, and the crushed peas with mint, whilst fairly nice, were a bit odd and didn't fit with the rest of the food. The rest of the breakfast was ok but it didn't justify the fairly steep price tag. The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere, but we wouldn't go back as the food really let it down.

We got the Vegan breakfast, the waffles with berries and the English breakfast. For the English breakfast everything was really nice but the bacon could have been crisper, the vegan breakfast was good but I don't think the mint pea sauce was a good combination. The sour dough and hash browns were delicious! The berry waffles were delicious, quite tangy from sauce and with the sweet waffles it was a good combination.

Lovely outside on a sunny day. The menu is genuinely innovative and offers something different particularly for breakfast. The young guys that run this establishment are hard working and nice people who always say hello and dont hesitate to offer to carry food and drinks out to the table.

I come here most weekends and just sit under the mature trees and watch the day go by and the family of robins come to clear up the crumbs from my plate.

WATCH OUT! I bring my well behaved dog on a lead and am often approached by the Denmans Garden manager/manageress warning me to keep my dog close by me at all times despite other guests approaching to pet and talk to my friendly hound. They are in my opinion obnoxious, anti-dog and unpleasant -...

A lovely little place to eat housed within a garden centre. I visited with my wife after being told about its existence and I was pleasantly surprised by the place. I am local to the cafe and have only just found out about it, which was a surprise. It is tucked away just off the A27 so could be easily missed and I've not seen much advertisement which may or may not need to be addressed by the owners? Anyway the staff were very friendly and the food is very nice, albeit a little pricey in my opinion. They offer plenty on the menu as well as a good selection of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks. In a nutshell I would highly recommend a visit and I'll certainly...
