Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Ashford

I'm not a fan of costalot coffee, so I added one star to this review to account for any bias. I didn't have to wait long. I asked for a large flat white, but they don't do those in large. So I got a large latte at £3.40 Moments later two latte were placed near the serving orifice. It turns out one was mine. I expected them to let me know but maybe they don't do that anymore. I sat at one sticky table, but it wobbled. So I moved to a second sticky and wobbly table. The tables had been cleaned, but it's the one wet wrag and sticky spray. The latte was lava hot. Yes, I burnt my tongue too. Lava hot drinks and wobbly tables, amazing idea. Just mix in a few kids and syrupy creamy drinks too. At the price I expected one of those cheap biscuits, but no. I don't have a loyalty card, but card holders can get a free coffee after spending £27.20 on 8 coffee's. Buy a cup for £15 and that's reduced to 4 coffee's for £13.70. Top tip, buy a cup, in tkmax next door, empty costalot into it, and save pounds! It's nice to see big coffee chains protecting the environment, and entertaining to see hapless people buy the merchandise to reduce running costs and pay additional profit on top. If you really want to help the environment, order to 'eat in' and walk away with the cup. You can always bring it back. Not as good as any of the independent cafes found around Ashford. Dreadful waited between 10-25mins 2 be served as on 2 behind the counter big queue in front of me + behind me the place was dirty filthy the bin was over flowing as they was using paper bags 4 the food as no plates using paper cups as no normal cups etc 1 toilet working as the other was out of order they closed the shop as 1 of the girls had a bereavement turned alot of people away they was closing at 3.30pm then it was 2pm then as soon as people sat down after us the girl came round + said sorry we r closing u work in retail av 4 34yrs when my husband died + my dad plus my friends av,had lost family members they didn't close the shop they carried on working my condolences go out 2 her but it should av bin the girl that went home not all the staff + close the shop I av bin 2 better costa coffee shops + bin service with a smile clean friendly + better...

Extreamly rude towards someone that only asked for the toilets to be cleaned and , the members of staff got rude and the women that asked them to clean the toilets was sat down and them not knowing I was with the women as I walk past I hear them saying " make sure to clean the walls as well " you think that's the way to treat customers? You must be haveing a laugh I won't ever be returning and I am a costa lover now I'm thinking about not bothering , your ment to have respect for your customers and have good customer survice obviously they haven't and haven't been taught well on how to treat customers with all needs ,that needs to change or you will keep seeing...
