Greggs — Restaurant in Ashford

Right good bit first.... Food was very good.

But!

Very disappointed in everything else during my visit unfortunately.

Firstly the 2 customers before me had their orders made incorrectly.

Sadly they made me the wrong coffee which they happily replaced. The pumpkin spiced latte was missing the cream which when I inquired they explained they were out of cream.

The tea had a split tea bag.

No milk at the station, about 3 sugars left and the bin was full and overflowing onto the floor.

Food all over the tables, chairs and floor.

Witnessed 3 customers walk in, look at the state of the tables and walk out again.

One staff member stocking drinks which were already heavily stocked. Another staff member wiping over the counter and coffee machine, another staff member walking around with a clipboard busying themselves.

Do not like to leave negative reviews but twice now I have visited this store and experience wasn’t brilliant. On both occasions service was extreme slow and staff didnt look like they wanted to be there. My food was Luke warm on the first occasion (but coffee was good). However on the second occasion of standing in the queue for 10 minutes, I got to the counter to be told that the card machines were not working and I don’t carry cash. This was extremely irritating as it would have been helpful to maybe put a notice on the store window. None of the staff seemed that bothered and no apology was given. Suffice to say I won’t be going to this store again and I feel that senior management really need to be looking at this store to inject a bit more customer service experience...

Me and my son come in a few times now, he’s a toddler and loves the chicken bakes and of course cupcakes every so often, just wanted to say the young girl who works there is so lovely, I didn’t get her name. Shes there Monday mornings as far as I’m aware, she’s so friendly and outgoing and doesn’t feel like she’s rushing you out the door like it can feel sometimes.
