I recently visited McDonald's Orbital Park and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. On my past two visits, the restaurant has been experiencing computer issues, which has caused significant delays and inconvenience.
During my first visit, we were made to wait in the drive-through for more than 20 minutes and were eventually instructed to move on without making any payment or giving out food, we could have paid cash. The second visit was even worse. The drive-through was closed, and we were directed to go inside and make our orders. However, all of the kiosks were down, leaving customers with no choice but to queue at the till. To make matters worse, none of the card payment options were available, and we were not informed of this until after queuing for over half an hour. We were forced to scramble for cash and caused substantial delays for all customers involved.
As a paying customer, I believe that such an experience is unacceptable, and it is imperative that McDonald's Orbital Park takes a proactive step towards resolving these recurring issues and have a better business continuity plan . I urge management to address these problems promptly and offer a more satisfactory solution for customers affected by these technical difficulties.
Overall, I left the restaurant feeling disappointed and frustrated with the poor customer service and lack of communication from the staff regarding payment options. Hopefully, my input helps McDonald's Orbital Park improve their operations and provide a better experience for customers...
Read moreCustomer service is lacking, A particular member of staff (Damion) was rude and lack manners. Needs to know how to be polite and courteous. His communications skill needs to be improved. Would I go back there, HELL NO. Owner of that franchise need to engage with staff on how they deal with customers. Felt really sorry for the female manager has she did not seem to have leadership authority and control.

This is the worst customer service I have received and it all started from the drive through 1st window. Was given misleading information on my order Got to the second window and was asked to proceed to the 3rd window and wait. Received my hot drinks from Damion and I soon as I said that the manager was coming to address my concern. What did he do, he did not had over the rest of my order, left in on the counter and walked off. After waiting for at least 5 minutes. I had to come out of my car, poke my head through the window to get someone's attention and Damion came back with manager and all the unnecessary exchange of word started. All this started on Saturday Morning between 04:12 to 04:30 hrs. That is if someone at Mcdonalds will take this feedback seriously...

A lot of the staff are experienced from being there years or working at the outlet or junction 9 or town centre. Yes there is 4 McDonald’s in Ashford with plans once for a 5th. But I found out that this McDonalds is the busiest in Europe and it made me realise how good it is.
Big Mac and Nugs is the normal stable, if it’s a sharing day playing double cheese with a share box and if I’m unsure it’s chicken selects with sweet chilli and sour cream and chive.

Breakfast whatever you order is good but always add the extra hash brown. Always starts your day well.
Since COVID the dine in experience is well managed, corona safe and the staff are good in enforcing and guiding the dim public through the experience of ignoring all the signs on the doors, asking them to wash their hands then get them to touch a big iPad to cook the food while they struggle to find their table let alone social distance.
Good McDonalds but best I’ve been to of all time was New York, Tines Sqaure. Will never forget that super size Big...
