Rocky's Cafe — Restaurant in Ashford

I had driven past this place many times before, but I have not stopped before, after following many sign pointing up to the sky for parking, I found a spot, although I do not think that it was the allocated spaces for the café. As I entered i was met with a wall of sound coming from a packed room of workmen with very few seats available, telling me that this is a good place to eat, as this many people can't all be wrong. There was plenty of choice written on big hanging blackboards for breakfasts and lunches, along with options and extras to suit all tastes. The charming lady taking my order was very patient and helpful, and informed me that they had just sold it and that she was "Rocky" (looks like I found this gem a little to late) I took a seat and waited as I heard many numbers being called like a bingo hall as food was quickly delivered from the kitchen to tables. My Brekie turned up, and it did not disappoint....

My dad's always gone on about Rockys over the years, it's a proper greasy spoon type cafe he said and you won't get better grub anywhere else. Well he was telling the truth, I had my mot today at a garage nearby so I treated myself and my 3 year old to some food and a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream whilst we waited. If i didn't live in a different town I'd be there everyday 😂. The ladies are all lovely in there and they work so hard, it gets really busy! I'll definitely be back, my other half was jealous I was there so I'll be bringing him along...

Popped in while working in the area. Cracking cafe with plenty of seating and a welcome and clean environment. Served efficiently by professional and courteous members of staff and very impressed with the Set 1 breakfast. All ingredients cooked to perfection, full of flavour and unlike other cafes I've frequented, didn't leave a pool of grease behind. Also well priced considering the quality and service received. I would most definitely return if I'm in these parts again and would...
