Stopping at The Hub Cycle Cafe in Wye after a ride along the North Downs was an absolute treat for the eyes and the taste buds. The near riverside location, housed in upcycled shipping containers, is brilliant—a perfect, picturesque spot to park the bike and relax. Their commitment to sustainability is genuinely inspiring, and the atmosphere, buzzing with cyclists and walkers, is lovely. The quality of the fuel they offer is outstanding. I had one of their sausage rolls and a coffee, and both were top-tier. The coffee was rich and perfectly brewed, and the sausage rolls was exactly the kind of energy-boosting, utterly delicious reward you dream of on the road. The food is simply great, full stop. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait. The service was noticeably slow, which, when you’re cold and hungry, can feel like an eternity. I did not wait to place my order but I did had to wait and prompt the staff for it to arrive. I appreciate that they are busy and everything is clearly made with care, but a little more efficiency would turn this great pit-stop into a perfect one. I’ll definitely be back for the excellent cake, but I’ll make sure I'm not in a rush next time!

I visited this coffee shop this morning after a hike and really enjoyed the experience overall. The service was friendly and efficient, and the coffee itself was excellent. The space is clearly very family-oriented, with lots of outdoor toys like bikes for toddlers to ride. While that makes it a fantastic spot for families, it did make the outdoor area feel quite chaotic, with children playing around the seating area. For us, it wasn’t the most relaxing place to enjoy a quiet coffee, but if you’re looking for a lively, family-friendly setting, this would be a great choice.

Really modern coffee house built from 2 shipping containers with scandi style interior with lots of nice seating spots, toilets and patio area. It’s a cycle themed place with lots of cyclists and walkers. Highly recommended when you are in the area. The coffee scores a 3.5 / 5

My second visit in as many days, says it all really. I had Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash soup which was spot on. Nice soft roll perfect for dunking.

Nice selection of sweet treats and savoury food for that quick fix with your coffee.

Coffee was superb. Nice relaxing atmosphere , lovely staff & whether you’ve been on a long walk, bike ride, or just stopping for a relaxing coffee break you can’t go wrong...
