We stopped off in the lovely little Wye after a morning walking on the North down Way. We had afternoon Tea and coffee, with a wedge of chocolate Tiffin in the lovely little Wye coffeeshop & Kitchen which is nicely set on the corner with nearby free parking. We loved it and definitely recommend a visit. Ps The thunder ⚡ and hale stones where a little suprise after walking in sunshine most of the morning

Best cheese scone EVER!! No, really, it was awesome 😍 Good selection of food and drinks, both got and cold Funky decor with mismatched chairs, tables, benches and stools. Massive exposed beams that hint of the history of the building. So cool that dogs are welcomed, especially as people walk across the Downs with humans and dogs alike! Quite a serious member of staff, but attentive

A brilliant coffee shop / cafe. Very enthusiastic staff and dog friendly. Although the main coffee machine was broken they still managed to provide some excellent filtered coffee in both caffeinated and decaf. Providing an excellent full English which is available till 1230 daily. They also have a good selection of cakes for afters or take aways.

My partner and I stopped here for some coffee and cake on our drive through Kent while on holiday, as the coffee shop looked really cosy and beautifully decorated from the outside. Unfortunately, we experienced some shockingly rude behaviour from the staff.

As we entered we confirmed with the staff that they were closing at 3 PM on a Sunday as we had arrived just after 2 PM and wanted to double check their closing times. Just as we walked into the shop we were abruptly asked for our order before we had even sat down at our table or looked at a menu! We went up to the till to order some cakes and the waitress just turned her back on us as she got the cake and didn't say a word to acknowledge us. Then, no more than a couple minutes after we got our drinks and cake we were asked to leave as they were "closing early" today - despite the fact that they previously told us that they closed at 3 PM.

All the staff interactions felt very hostile and it was clear that we were not welcome. From reading the other reviews it seems like the staff are normally friendly to customers, so unfortunately it appears as though they are rude when it comes to customers who are not local / from this country. Overall, a very disappointing and...

I have used this cafe on many occasions with friends and family. Today I arrived with my great aunt and mother in law looking forward to our lunch, however upon arrival we were asked to move when we selected a table. We were then ignored. We waited over 20 mins, one lady started washing up whilst the other thought it would be a better idea to clear a table rather than take our order. I thought customers should always come first. They were not overly busy so no excuse as to why we received such poor service. I did give feedback to one lady who seemed shocked yet knew we were waiting to be seen too. Due to such poor service we have now opted to take our business elsewhere today and for our mothers day as we had planned to book here for that occasion too. We will not be back. I don't know any small business who can afford too loose money in this way. I would recommend selecting another...

Really don't like to be critical. And I can only comment on our food. The flat white was watery, huge and just tasted like bland coffee. That was more of a machine made cheap latte than a decent flat white. The quiche wasn't seasoned well and again - pretty bland and forgettable. The scones (raisin bap type things with butter) tasted like toast. Very dry, crumbly and lacking any flavour. Very poor I'm afraid. ..I'm sorry to be negative but for such a lovely location, they should be doing so much better. Get quality food in here , artisan cakes, quality local produce and well made frothy rich flavourful coffee, and this place will be superb. Staff were friendly, but the rest was pretty poor...
