Ayat Spice — Restaurant in Ballymisert

Got a delivery from here. I got the meal for one (rogan Josh), doner kebab, hot wings and a few separate sauces.

I asked for no coriander or mint in the rogan josh however, on arrival it was in the rogan josh.

As for the sauce, when it arrived it was plastered all over the food containers within the bag due to it being incorrectly sealed.

I phoned and asked for a replacement, the shop confirmed they would replace the meal for 1 and the sauce, I expressed would it be the whole meal for 1 as the rice and chips would be cold when the replacement meal comes, he said yes.

15 mins later the food arrives. Only the rogan josh, no fresh rice or chips. Terrible costumer service, you expect to get what you paid for. If I could give a 0* rating, I would. I wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t be...

Asked for a meat box (Donner meat and tikka in a hamburger sized container) and the driver had to explain it to him. Was charged the same price as a special kebab.

Also, they fill it with chips, put a small layer of Donner on top then add some chicken to make it look like there's more meat than there is. They will put very little sauce on forcing you to buy separate sauce.

Before it was sold, it was great. Now it's about charging as much as possible for as little as possible. Used to be my favourite place but I would rather travel to the shore road (20 mile round trip) for a much better kebab. Not sure I'm allowed to mention the name but it starts with charcoal and ends with grill....

Ordered a donor kebab on naan and a chicken tikka with chips, my partner went to collect it. When she got home we discover the kebab is in a box, no naan. Phone the shop and they proceed to argue that we didn't order it on anything, at which point my partner pointed out that he asked her if it was in naan or chips. At this point he agrees that he wrote it down so he'll make us a naan but not remake the kebab and there will be a £1 charge for the naan. Meaning the kebab will be cold by the time we get home again and have to put our dinner together ourselves.

The chicken tikka contained 8 pieces of chicken just to cap off...
