Me and my family went to Miller's inn for our Christmas dinner the first time we have ever been out for Christmas dinner but never again. Our dinner was booked for 14.30 hrs we got a lovely welcome saw dinners coming out for other people and thought yes looks ok. We arrived for dinner at around 14.00 hrs after waiting two hours for dinner we were told there was no good for kid's. My son in law wasn't happy at all and complained we got most of our money back and they did finally feed us after waiting two and a half hours. There were five of us adults plus our grandson and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. Definitely my type of pub, it had character, and that young lady behind the bar was so friendly and attentive. Beer, wine and cider prices well under the price of our local. The meat not being of great quality. I understand that fresh meat is expensive and doesn't last but probably less choice and better quality may work better.
