I have had two takeaway now. The first was the best curry ever of my life, made such a pleasant surprise to have more choices for a mild curry lover. I had mango chicken and lemon rice alongside a starter and pickle try etc. My friend had equally good curry of medium hotness etc. Unfortunately the second time we ordered a takeaway it was like it had come from a different establishment obviously different chef or just bad day. I ordered the same but they either sent a completely different curry similar to a bland korma ,tasteless definitely no mango. And this time the lemon rice was ruined by the amount of lemon rind which isn't eddible . BOTH WENT IN THE BIN. EQUALLY MY FRIEND WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH THERES SO THAT WENT IN BIN Such a shame in comparison to first experience. I wanted to phone the restaurant but my Friend pointed out served little purpose and the last thing we wanted was a black mark next to our name should we take the gamble and try it again. After seeing the high reviews I thought I’d give this a try I ordered a takeaway and delivery, it was easy to order and was very quick to be delivered: the popadoms were lovely, as was the pickle tray. I ordered chicken tikka Karahi, unfortunately this tasted nothing like a Karahi, the sauce was cold yet the large rarely cooked onions and peppers were hot, the chicken was nice and also cooked. It appeared that the food may have been thrown around a pan quickly, and put into a container with cold sauce poured over it. There was absolutely no taste of spice in the curry, no heat whatsoever. Never have I had a Karahi given to me in this way. The sauce was powdery and tasteless. The garlic naan bread was slightly well done which was a blessing as it tasted of something as I couldn’t taste the garlic at all. This place is superb!! Well furnished, and has a modern feel. There's about 20 tables, so of an average size for a restaurant. What really sets this place apart, is the level of attention and the high standard of customer service provided. The staff are extremely attentative and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Combine this with an exceptional quality of food being served, and this place is a must, to try.

One word of advice though, if you'd like an alcoholic drink with your meal, take it with you. They don't have an alcohol license, so openly encourage you to take your own. There's also a convenience store next to the restaurant, so you could always drop in there and get something. Overall, first...
