Starbucks — Restaurant in Barnsley

I cannot comment on the atmosphere of food because I didn't go in and order food however, I did order over just eat order and got a caramel macchiato made with OAT milk because I have severe milk allergies, they didn't have oat milk so they thought it would be a good idea to replace it with semiskimmed milk. I really want to know who had this thought process?

We got a note explaining that they tried to contact us via JustEat, however, I'm very familiar with justeat and you cannot contact people through the app which is why they put a phone number of the recipient on the receipt. They did not attempt to contact us whatso ever. I'm unsure to why they didn't replace the oat milk, with soya or coconut milk?????

Normally I wouldn't leave such a negative review however when it comes down to allergies you guys really need to do your job, people can end up in the hospital or worse off.

Ordered two lattes with blonde beans. I tasted mine & it was quite strong. I didn't say anything and watched my partner take a sip of hers who instantly said that's not made with blonde beans, it's bitter. To try & see the colour of the latte she started to try and part the frothy top which was impossible as there was just so much of it so it had to be scrapped out on to napkin. This revealed half a cup of actual coffee. I know latte has some froth on top but that is ridiculous. Mine was exactly the same. My partner took both cups back and asked if they could be remade as they were really strong and we had ordered blonde beans. The girl on the counter did remake them and the replacements were fine. Nice smoothe coffee with a small amount of froth at the top. The drinks are perfectly fine at stairfoot Starbucks but the toilet leaves a lot to be desired. Toilet paper all over the floor. Old Poo daubed on the walls. Dirty mop marks on the bottom of the walls where dirty water been splashed. Walls wiped with dirty cloths leaving smears. To say we’re in a pandemic it was really disgusting.
