British Fried Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Basildon

Used this place off and on for many years. Although they always seem to mess up my salad(ie giving me something I've asked to omit or missing something I've asked for) other than that, the food has always been fine and reasonably priced. Recently ordered a home delivery. Arrived very quickly which I thought was good at the time but in hindsight was a bad sign. The chips and onion rings were fine, but the pitta bread was rock hard and inedible and could not distinguish what the meat was as it was covered in a very hot spicy sauce, but certainly wasn't the lamb shish I ordered. Normally as this was a one-off I probably would have given them another chance, but bearing in mind, I did not get what I ordered, the main part of the meal was inedible, I had a very bad stomach for the next two days, and their prices have rocketed, some things by as much as 63%,unfortunately I am most unlikely to be...

Just Ordered some food from here wasn’t bad with delivery but the food was highly disappointing I got a chicken burger meal and the taste of a stale defrosted chicken burger with rubber chunks in the meat where the chicken is badly kept, I took one look at the chips and could squeeze them in my fingers as they were recooked multiple times and soggy and cold, they also missed out other items too then have them say I’ll have them soon when next delivery is out too end up with cold chicken that’s gone so hard i can’t eat them,I had a can of coke and the taste of it was disgusting more like cheep redundant drinks, this used to be really delicious place for any food you’re belly craved nowadays you can’t rely on anywhere in Basildon.

Don’t order worst service ever ! Ordered 2 chicken meals and a portion of ribs order took 2 hours and 10 minutes And missing my ribs then when it arrived it was freezing cold and and they said order would be an hour originally an hour and 1hr 30 mins went by and we called the restaurant they said it had just left with driver but then didnt arrive until 40 mins later and we live 5 min drive from here and then when we said but if it left so long ago it would be cold they said they have other orders to deal with like that’s ours wasn’t already really late from here even worst eventually when it arrived the ribs were missing they said they would send them.
