Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Basildon

Opening times do not match to the app. Ordered two drinks before 5pm as the app said the store shut at 5.30pm. When I turned up to the collect the drinks before 5pm the store was closed. When explaining to a member of staff that the app said it didn't shut for another 30 mins they said there's nothing they could do about it. They wouldn't make my drinks and would said they would cancel the order so that I could get a refund. However when I checked my order history on the app it said that the order was completed. When I checked my bank account, a refund wasn't given. I have a filed a complaint with Costa Coffee but I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. The member of staff involved wasn't really bothered in helping, think he was more concerned about going home. I won't be returning...

Two very efficient young ladies running the show here. In desperate need of a third pair of hands to clear tables. I noticed an excellent show of hygiene standards. Let me explain....... Whilst serving one of the staff members sneezed ( away from the serving area ) onto the back of her hand. She immediately went & washed her hands. This l know is what should be done. Visited Saturday 17th Feb 2024. The most abrupt rudest cashier, I asked what was gluten free told nothing I said in the whole shop nothing she said yes, I then asked the lady making coffee who then directed me to front cakes on counter and explained cashier said nothing.
