Cristi's Bar — Restaurant in Basildon

If you're looking for somewhere in Billericay to host a party then I cannot reccomend Cristi's enough! We had one of the best private events here in this chic bar and restaurant. Lee and Cristina are so kind, welcoming and talented, it was the personal touches that made it extra special. They put us at ease straight away knowing exactly what we needed and gave some great suggestions to create what I can only describe as the perfect birthday party.

Everyone said the atmosphere in the area upstairs was perfect for a party of 50 people with great lighting and a bar - the bartender made some phenomenal cocktails! The food was also a big hit with amazing pizzas and really stylish Italian tapas - we will be back just to taste this again! They were so accommodating with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options too. We had this event on a Sunday so it was family friendly. They also let us set up some balloon decorations beforehand, provided an amazing speaker for music and throughout the night they worked so hard to help us with whatever we needed. We recently celebrated my partner’s 30th birthday at Cristi’s and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the initial planning stages, the service was outstanding. They were incredibly helpful with everything from pre-ordering food/drink to answering my general questions. This made the whole process so much less stressful.

The service during the event itself was truly amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, fun and always on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly. The cocktails were fantastic – a real highlight of the evening! Beyond the service, the venue itself was absolutely perfect. It created the exact atmosphere I was hoping for.

The food was incredible, fresh and they has absolutely no trouble catering to our dairy free guest! I hosted my baby shower at Cristi’s 2 weeks ago and had the most amazing afternoon. From the moment I booked until the end of the baby shower the service was 10/10. Cristina, Lee and their staff are the most lovely people you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all there early eager to help us set up. The food was absolutely delicious and both food and drink such good value for money. Every single one of my guests commented on what a fantastic venue it was and that they would love to return for the brunch or to host their own parties.
