McDonald's — Restaurant in Basildon

This used to be one of the best local mcdonalds. Not today! I had a 4, 5 and 10 year old in the car. It took 30 mins to get to the part where you order your food and when I got to the window, I was told to sir and wait in the bay. After another 20 mins and 8 cars behind me, drove off with their food, I went back to the window to ask where our food was. Again I had to wait and eventually went into the restaurant to ask for a manager. That's when they started bagging up our meal, this was 60 minutes after we got to the drive through. The kids were winding eachother up, bored and the 4 year old ended up having an accident on the way home due to being stuck in the car for so long. The food was rubbery and the chips had no salt on them, most was thrown so I wasted not only money, but an hour of my time for the kids to hardly eat it then complain they're hungry. The whole point of us going to mcdonalds on the way home was because it would have been too late to cook for the kids, but the so called fast food restaurant was slower that I would have been making a roast. The kids were home late, upset, one was wet and still hungry, as well as being tired and fed up. This is not acceptable and u will be making an official complaint as this could have been avoided if just 1 of the 6 members of staff that were standing around chatting and laughing in the restaurant went out to let people know that food would be an hour wait...well mine was, the people behind me didn't seem to have to wait for their food....

Just ordered a late night McDonald's for me and my partner off Uber eats. Unfortunately left them a 3 star review as I rated it before I opened my food (stupid I know) we got a double Big Mac with bacon, quarter pounder and wrap, cheese balls and a mcflurry. Me and my partner are allergic to alot of stuff in the burgers so we took these out via the app, we took stuff out of every item we bought, it's arrived and they have not taken anything out of our burgers or the wrap. We physically can't eat this. £33 wasted. If you guys see this review, I'm the person who ordered at 12:27am, I will be getting In touch in the morning, it also took them over an hour for the driver to get my food, as they were incredibly slow making our food. Food stone cold, ice in the drinks melted, and mcflurry is like water, ordered at 12:27, received my food at 1:38, well after the latest delivery time.

I have screenshotted proof that we took the items out. And proof that they didn't remove them.

If your workers aren't prepared to do late night service then I reccommend not offering it. Although looking at other reviews, it seems they mess up orders during...

Visited here many times and there's always an issue. Food not put in the bag and when pointed out to the staff the manager moans that she doesn't want to give out free food( erm it's already paid for??) Consistently long waits at the drive through only to be told they don't have this or that on the menu or the machines are broken, sometimes they don't even know why they can't sell the items. Inside isn't much better with long wait times and missing food. Ment to be a 24 hour site but no matter what time of the night we visited they can't serve as they have taken thier tills off.... that's not 24 hours then is it? Would rather drive to one further away then bother with our local one . Rarely get this many issues at Pitsea and we would rather drive to Rayleigh which is...
