Greggs — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

I come to this greggs most days as I work as a community carer. I've come today around 9.35 and was served by Stephen. What an appalling service! I asked if there was any bacon left to which he made a sarcastic comment to which I asked if I could have a bacon roll. Stephen then said no I can't be arsed. I also asked if I could have bacon well done, or as well done as he has and if he could remove any fat from it. I'm also 25 weeks pregnant and can't stomach under cooked/fatty bacon. I got my sandwich and paid. As I got back to my car to eat, I opened the cob to see 3 poor excuses of bacon, well under cooked and still with the fat on. I know he said he can't be arsed but come on! I'm a regular customer I do not expect to be treated like that. I didn't eat my sandwich and I quite frankly wouldn't have fed it to a dog either. With this and the service I don't think I'll be returning again any time soon and will now have to find another sandwich en route IF I even get time for a break. Stephens lack of customer service, wether he's trying to be funny or not has lost this shop a customer and I wonder how many more he's lost...

Food is just pitiful and the price is absurd! Staff need to wear smiles on their faces and be kind and friendly at least! Walking into Greggs feels like you've walked into a funeral late and it is just plain awkward. The amount of waste I've seen them remove off the property is absurd!! Crates of stale donuts and pastries!! They claim to be on too good to go app yet each ticket bought on there gets cancelled an hour or two before collection and you'll only get your monies back in about two weeks. My biggest complaint is the waste thought! I have put in a complaint to Greggs and Too Good to Go... I've shopped at Greggs a handful of times and it is convenient for me because of the proximity to where I live but I won't be supporting that Greggs anymore. I just wish I got a picture of...

Stopped in to grab a quick bite to takeaway for my husband and I while I was on my way back from work. It was about 1030am on a Sunday, so it was quite busy. Despite this, the queue moved quickly and the service was good. The lady who served me (Michelle) even took the time to label the bags for me so I would know which item was which-- a very kind gesture which did not go unnoticed. Our interaction was quick, but she was very polite, attentive, and efficient (as was the other lady working ar the second till, whose name I did not manage to catch). All in all, pleased with the food & service, and will call in again...
