Cafe 25 — Restaurant in Bath

I notice this is a new business and the bulletin board specifically asked for feedback so here goes. Coffee and cake delicious but far more effort required in the customer service department to make it great. Not one coffee went out with a teaspoon, meaning folk had to walk to counter to ask for one. A lady ordered two hash browns which were delivered on a plate with no fork or napkin meaning she had to go to counter to ask for one. We had just walked the Cotswold Way and were virtually ignored by the young lady at the counter as we stood waiting with heavy backpacks. So we sat down and were still ignored. No eye contact smile or welcome. No ill be with you in a moment. But lots of banter with a young lad in the kitchen. This is not good enough. Absolutely phenomenal food and service! The staff was so helpful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan to come back regularly. The brie and cranberry toastie is quite possibly the best I've had of its kind. We also loved the pulled pork roll and the beef, cheese, and mustard toastie was also delicious. The chai latte is one of the best I've tasted, along with the hot chocolate, which I normally don't really like to drink. We sometimes come here to have coffee/snack since my daughter's school is nearby. This time she needs to pee while waiting for the bus, and I asked her to go to the cafe and I thought she would manage by herself because she normally does in other toilets. But, she couldn't open the main door of the toilet, it was so hard to twist and she was stuck inside. The management/staff and other customers really did their best to open it and were very helpful to let my child out. Good thing they were able to open the door after a few minutes.
