First look online this place looks brillaint. The decor is beautiful and matches the photos online although when I was told via the website I had to book a table online I would be given my deposit money back (which I was not) It claimed at the end you would receive your money back off my bill so I was assuming it was a bar tab situation considering I had to set down the deposit. When we arrived no one was there to actually seat us we had to attend to the bar and ask after waiting a long while behind people at the bar and waiting at the ā€œcheck in deskā€. It was bar service and not a tab which personally confused me considering how my deposit was holding a ā€œtableā€ on the rooftop I never received, we had to wait indoors until a table was free outside and find it ourselves. The drinks were lovely made perfectly although outside the music from indoors was overpowering it was genuinely hard to hold a conversation with my peer after near enough every sentence we were asking each other what we said as it was too loud to hear each other. It’s nice you can smoke out on the rooftop and drink which in many places now it’s not aloud so it is great that you can although i wouldn’t return due to deposit not being returned for a table we didn’t receive and not being able to hear each other.

Looking for something to fill the last hour or so before we headed home, we found this place. Drawn to it by the sign stating roof top bar on a sunny afternoon and being just across the road from our hotel where our luggage waited to be picked up, it was ideal. Walking through the dark entrance with minimal lighting and not a lot of people about, we almost didn't wait at the warehouse style lift door to see if the place was open. We are glad we did and almost sorry we didn't discover it early in our visit as whilst it certainly felt different from the norm on an early afternoon, we imagine it would be even better during the evening with more customers. We only stopped for some drinks but enjoyed the experience. One observation we made that wouldn't be quite so noticeable in an evening , the artificial grass, it could do with a water .. sorry a good clean .

Great rooftop bar in the heart of Belfast City Centre, well known for their Cocktails. With a bespoke feel with the use of a service elevator to the root where you are greeted by a large bar which leads to a exposed open roof terrace fully equipped with fairy lights for that extra chilled out feel. Nice spot well worth a trip if your just visiting or looking to impress.

From the beginning this experience was average. We arrived, got our table and to be fair to the waitress (never got her name) the woman from Scotland. She looked after us fairly well, let us substitute the small selection of drinks and take Guinness. We had ordered 2 fish and 4 meats. Food came 15 minutes before the bottomless brunch ended. Meal seemed okay, we ate anyway. About 15 minutes after one of our group had started to feel sick, attempted to be sick nothing came up. When back at the table same feeling again! Finally managed to vomit and after vomited proceeded to say they could not stand nor see! Managed to make it back to the hotel and for the next hour proceeded to vomit the lining of their stomach out. Not able to sit stand or move party was immobile and very sick. I then rang the establishment and they accused us of Leaving our drinks! When at this place there was always at least 2 people at the table. I suggested it may have been a staff member or some sort of food poisoning and staff member on the phone told me food poisoning would not have taken affect yet and they are not held responsible! Overall this experience was very very shocking. Staff were nothing to complain about, I appreciate there help. Apart from the male that answered the mobile. Atmosphere was great. Food and drink - if I could give a minus I would! This is a disgrace! A member of our party was bed bound for the rest of the night due to this and the employment had the audacity to accuse us of leaving drinks unattended! Will not be back to this establishment, I do not recommend anyone...

We didn’t have food so putting it as a 4, hi my name is Moreen, my daughter is writing this review for me as I’m not good with technology but even with that I had to write one for our bartender caoimhin, we have been at the perch two weeks in a row first on Saturday the 16th and me and a couple of my friends came in to scope the place out for my daughters event that would be happening on the 23rd we came in the place was lovely, good venue and very colourful which was great, now the drinks we were served by a fella with very curly hair and sadly I didn’t get his name then, we got French martinis, espresso martinis and pornstar martinis and they were some of the best we have had, the foam at the top was so crisp was basically restaurant quality, he was the best explained their own cocktails to a tea and really made the customer journey perfect we left very happy, on the 23rd it was my daughters birthday and when we came in I was so excited to see the bartender caoimhin from the week before (after he told me his name on Saturday) I was ranting and raving about his cocktails to my daughter and her friends, which same again the cocktails were amazing he made us some gin summer fizz and vista blues that were to die for, thank you for the best cocktails we have had and this was a special shoutout to you for your hardwork son it was appreciated, we will definitely be back for more very very soon, brilliant nights out -...

I booked a table here last week via The Perch’s Instagram account. I asked to book a table for about 5-6 people for NYE and was told my booking was confirmed and someone would be in touch. It got to last night about 5pm and no one had gotten in touch about a deposit. I phoned them and the guy on the phone told me there was issues with their booking system but we still had a table. Not even 5 minutes later I received an email to be told our table was cancelled. I obviously phoned them straight away and was told by them that the guy I spoke to beforehand didn’t know what he was talking about and told me the wrong information. They told me a guy called Ryan would phone me but he never did. I phoned them back about 10mins later for the phone to be put down on me and had to ring again. They ended up getting us a table in Rita’s below the perch which was enjoyable. However I am appalled at the service of this place considering I booked a week in advance to just be told that our table was cancelled. Absolute disgrace and such a let down as we’ve been once before and it’s ruined a really nice place but clearly management isn’t great as I read a lot of bad reviews with table issues. This would also be very disappointing for someone who had booked this for a birthday etc just to be let down like that only for me phoning, we would’ve gone all the way there to not even...
