Chilli Spice — Restaurant in Birmingham

We have been using Chilli Spice for many years both to eat in and take away. Most of the time its near spot on although they do have a tendancy not to listen to finer details i.e mild or .... This evening for the second time in a matter of weeks they overcharged on a takeaway (not a small amount) which was collected by a friend who wasnt familiar with the pricing. On calling the restaurant the ticket was rechecked and he confirmed that we had been overcharged. The attitude was we will look after you next time. I've heard that before they conveniently forgot at the time of placing this order having been overcharged the weekend previously. If you overcharge why increase your prices? I think its definitely time to try...

We had a table booked for 16 people. We called a week in advance for Friday night booking. We were asked on the booking phone call to ensure that the food order was in by the day before the meal. We gave them the order and they told us that we haven’t ordered enough food and they would only honour our reservation if we ordered more food and paid £14 per head. We were averaging about £9 per head. This is not something we were informed about and if we had we would have found somewhere else to book. If the restaurant wants more money for their food they should put up the prices on their menu not spring it on their customers the day before reservation. Poor customer service and a large loss of business for restaurant...

We have been eating from this restaurant for many years but most recently the standards have not been up to scratch....last week they sent the wrong breads and when i called tgey sent us fresh breads but asked for the wrong ones back...when ordering again this week i asked that they made sure that we received the correct food which we did but our chips were over cooked and our veg curry was extra spicey when i had asked for extra garlic......i don't think we will be ordering from here again..which is a real shame as most of the time the food...
