Frankie's Pizzeria - Kitts Green — Restaurant in Birmingham

I ordered a pizza at 10.21pm. At 10.37pm I was called to be told my ice cream wasn't available. Okay that's fine, at least I know they have my current phone number. I tell them to send my order without the ice cream.

At 11.00pm I get a text saying my food is on its way. That's great! Just eat gave me a delivery time of 11.10pm.

At 11.30pm my food has still not arrived. And I live quite local to the pizzeria. So I start calling the rest uarant. No answer despite my continuation of my calling all the way till 11.45pm.

At 11.43pm the restuarant cancels my order claiming i refused it. They claim that I didn't answer a call at 11.43pm, the same time I'm calling them for the 7th time. I have no missed call log for this time.

I'm sorry but who the hell ignores a phone ringing non stop from 11.30pm till 11.45pm? Does anyone at this establishment know how to answer the fricking phone?

Unacceptable behaviour. I can only assume it's because it was closing time at 11.45pm and no one wanted to be bothered to deal with a phone call. Won't be using them again. Thank heavens I didn't prepay on card this time.

Please invest in hearing aids for your staff Frankie pizzeria. Obviously they may need them if they can't hear a phone...

I wasn't planning on leaving a review but I feel really disappointed at what happened with my order just now. We ordered some food and because my son has allergies we selected items suitable for him (fries/chicken strips and popcorn chicken) . Once the order arrived we shared the food amongst ourselves. My son (with the allergies) took his food and broke it apart with his fingers as he saw it was a stick shape. Immediately he realised there was cheese inside and alhamdullilah he did not eat it. We realised we had mistakenly been given mozzarella sticks (which we hadn't ordered) The popcorn chicken and strips were missing from our order.

I wanted to post this review to make people aware if they have allergies as milk, egg and nut allergies are from the main allergens list and to add a product containing cows milk protein to an order is careless. It's scary to think that they are so careless about allergies. We phoned to let them know and they didn't realise the seriousness of the matter. I've left a review on Just Eat already, but I just need everyone to be informed. Listen to me. I ordered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, cheesy fries and the ultimate burger with lettuce and BBQ sauce (also I ordered a Pepsi with the meal). Usually I'm not really a fan of fries, but these fries were so damn succulent and juicy, with the cheese perfectly melted, coating the majority of the fries. The burger was tender, with BBQ sauce oozing out. Biting into it was like a hot knife through butter. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings definitely added the cherry on top of this already beautifully constructed meal. The Pepsi was freezing cold, a refreshing way to wash down this amazing food.
