We were a party of four (me, my two teenage daughters and a teenage family friend) and over half of what we ordered was wrong.

On ordering our first drinks two were wrong (a Smirnoff Cider was replaced with a Smirnoff Ice, the Oyster Bay was replaced with Gallo without being told that there was no Oyster Bay until after it was poured). On buying a second round (before the discovery that the food wasn't worthy of the cost of a second round of drinks) we ordered, among other things, the Smirnoff Cider again, only to be told that they don't have it. Except for the dozen or so bottles that were visible in the fridge... But the barmaid was clearly confused (same barmaid as the first round) so we just went with what she chose to serve us and had the pleasure of paying for it. ** Plus side; after paying with card we were handed 25p change. Win!

Our food order... The older two teens ordered steaks with corn on the cob. My 13 year old ordered nachos and I ordered the (inaccurately but amusingly named) 'Superfood Salad' with pepper ranch dressing, a sweet chilli prawn skewer and haloumi.

On ordering we were told that there was no tabouli to go in the 'Superfood Salad'; I asked what it would be replaced with? I was told I could have a sauce. Given it was meant to be a dressed salad that seemed a bit odd. I chose a side of chips, but a couple of minutes later asked for it to be changed to sweet potato fries instead, only to discover that the chips hadn't been ordered anyway.

After 35 minutes the nachos came out along with the 'Superfood Salad', prawns and haloumi. The salad was meant to contain baby spinach, gem lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, tabouli, a Bombay crunchy nut topping and ranch dressing. What I got was lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and red pepper. I accept the no tabouli (having been advised up front), however the lack of spinach, nut topping and dressing was unexpected and unreasonable. It wasn't so much a 'Superfood Salad' as a few raw leftover vegetables chucked in a bowl. The chilli prawn skewer was certainly prawns on a skewer, however there was absolutely no chilli of any kind on it - there was no anything on it. To say the entire 'Superfood' experience was underwhelming would be an exaggeration... it was insulting.

The nachos... The corn chips were beyond stale. They were chewy. But the youngest had waited long enough to eat and I couldn't expect her to wait longer - she chose to eat it (we all tried it and I offered to buy her something else but she had waited long enough and she was starving).

We waited 15 minutes after delivery of the first two meals for the steaks... and corn... Hello corn??? I sent my sad 70s salad back for a refund while the older two ate their steaks. After finishing their steaks we decided the corn probably wasn't coming and we weren't hanging around any longer than we had to. So to the bar to reclaim the money for the corn and advise the sorry state of the corn chips. Beyond the dismal state of the food, the attitude of the waitress (I believe she was the manager) really shone through. No apology, no explanation, just an obvious understanding that the food is rubbish and handing back money was like a reflex. Funnily, while waiting for her to 'serve' us (I use the term loosely), another patron was standing at the bar and his opening line to my family and I?... "So how bad was your food?". He had already had a full refund for his entire table.

It's not all negative; my one positive comment about the food... the...

Absolutely disgusted, Book over a week ago to take my son to have breakfast with paw patrol, confirmed on the phone that we will be arriving around 11 as my son had a hospital appointment prior to that so we would be making our way straight after the appointment. The person who booked it said that would be fine and why wouldn’t it because breakfast with paw patrol is 10-12 well that’s what we was led to believe. Anyway we arrive at 11 with a very excited 2 year old as we walk through the door, paw patrol are leaving? I ask a member of staff what is going on and they say paw patrol finish at 11. I then begin to question why they advertised paw patrol would be there until 12 and a manager comes along and basically says You will get you a refund and you can leave? What about my sons feelings? What about the petrol and time I’ve wasted going there? I continue to ask the management why they have falsely advertised a time as I feel like I’ve been lied to and I’m told by a very rude scruffy looking “manager” (Matthew folan) actually told me and my family to piss off and get off the premises whilst locking the doors and hiding inside the property. The way I was spoke to in front of my 2 year old is unacceptable and I will never return here again, oh wait matthew has told me I’m barred anyway??? Why because I asked the staff why they had lied and allowed me to promise my child breakfast with paw patrol for him to get there and watch them leave.....

Paid £3 for 30 - 40 min stay for one 2 yr old In the play area It was almost empty only a few children, two mothers including myself Right from entrance the male member of staff was very rude only cared about his phone Still stayed with his head in the phone while serving me - rude My son was seriouly injured to his head and face and no show of a member of staff as he was to busy stood behind the counter on his phone. He didnt even check to see if my boy was ok while he was screaming the place down - not forgetting it was empty The magnetic child saftey gate I had to close my self on more than one accation as the lad working there kept on going in and out and not closing the safety gate behind him He only cared about his phone I found the whole experience disgusting due to one member of staff that didn't want to be at work ( NO one like to work) but he was rude with it...no eye contact...everything was an issue for him...as child safety well completely out of the window with that member of staff Its a shame I didn't catch his name as I would of named and shamed him due to his negligence while working around children So unfortunately this one member of staff that has stopped me from returning However it's personal choice some parents just sit and chat all afternoon while kids are picking on each other and running wild I'm not one of them parents I watch my kids So I may expect more out of...
