It's simple really. We ordered from them for about 6 months. Foods ok. The time to wait is long but bearable. So why would I never, ever place another order with them again? They guy who delivered our food, nice guy, we tipped quite regularly. I was busy on the phone one night so my wife answered the door. When it came to paying she handed over £25 (bill was £22). She had to ask for the change (which she would have handed back as a tip)....He replies "What no tip?...you never tip why you never tip?" My wife had to fkin argue to get our money. When we complained; mangement were quite passive about the whole thing..."yeah we'll talk to him..." Never ever order from this company. Ever. Professional courtesy should be present without question, without compromise. Please look for another curry house. Hell, leave me a message and I'll make you dinner rather than out money on these...

After a bad takeaway experience shortly after this restaurant opened (cramped, waiting over the top of sat down diners, witnessing the waiter eating chips off of plates waiting to go out) we decided to give it another try. We ordered online, informed an hour wait. We went down to collect and order not ready. Waited another half an hour. Diners sat around the restaurant were complaining they had waited an hour plus for their food. One table walked out after waiting an hour and a half with no food at all.

We finally got our meal home. They had added extra poppadoms - thankyou, but no help to us when you didn't give us the two pots of mango chutney we had paid for to go with it. The food itself needed to be amazing, to make up for the errors and experience of collecting it.... it was average. Not bad, but this morning myself and my husband are regretting it - read...

Awful...we have been here before and the good is average, but it is convenient as close to home. Went on Sat eve having booked 3 days earlier..we waited 20 mins to be seated and then another 20 mins before we actually had to ask a waiter to come and take our order..after 15 mins we were told that we had to move tables. It was apparent that they had overbooked and we're trying to fit drop one in too! We were moved by the cash desk which was chaotic..20 mins later still no starter!!.my partner rang Regards in Boldmere and we got a table there..we left Indian Chef informing them their customer service was appalling!! Never again will we eat at Indian Chef!!! We will travel to Boldmere to Regards..excellent good and customer service, unlike...

Firstly we were not approached when walked in till 2 minutes of standing, then when we were seated the waiter miserable as sin said ‘any popperdoms’ we waited 10 mins for these only one waiter, then waited another 30 mins for started then 30 mins for main which was awful, tikka masala balti full of coconut and sugar not edible, daughters and husbands were different curry’s but tasted the same of sweet sugar, the curry came plated that had been microwaved, So you had to pile the rice on top of the curry and naan bread not as we know it! All in all would never go here again very miserable, food terrible, furniture tatty. Also they were seeing to takeaways more than the customers dining in!

Bring your own beer and wine here. I can imagine the business lose profits because of this, but it should suit most customers in terms of saving money. I had two poppadoms, vegetable biryani and a trio nan for just under £15. The chutney was added to my bill, then removed once I pointed this out. Not the best curry I've had, but not bad either. Very accommodating service. Worth giving them a try.

Another great meal. As always, beautifully and freshly made. Full flavour, generous portions and great service. The only reason for 4 stars is that they are not licensed to service drinks so unless you want water you need to bring your own. Other than that, I fully recommend
