This is my 3rd time at The Fox. First 2 visits fine. My 3rd visit was not as good.

On arrival we were seated. Luckily we were ordering from the app as no one came to ask us if we wanted drinks or a food order.

After waiting nearly 40 minutes for food we asked the waitress how long the wait would be, I then had to ask again as she had not returned to let us know.

If im honest I didn't quite understand her answer, said the mains were ready under the heater, then waiting for starters, the starters we had selected to come out with the mains! then they were waiting for a few of mains!

5 minutes later the food arrived, we could tell which had been under the heater! As the chips and burgers were very dry.

I work in a food establishment and appreciate things can go wrong or due to staff shortages can affect service.

I would of appreciated someone to to check if we wanted drinks/food and to communicate whether there is a delay in orders. I would appreciate if you could relay this back to the staff. They were friendly and I could see they was busy. It's just those little things that could make a customers experience better.

On a positive I had left my handbag behind and the staff kept it safe until I returned, the staff behind the bar were very friendly.
