Istanbul Grill — Restaurant in Birmingham

First time I went here I got a lovely meal. Second time I went in the guy was busy on the phone. Not even a not or a hand wave to gesture that I'd been acknowledged. Then tried to over charge me. I decided the other night to try again.

Once again (but different guy behind the counter) I walked in. No hello. No, gimme two minutes mate I'm just sorting this etc.just ignored me. Ended up walking out. Customer service skills need drastically improving.

I'd have gladly waited the extra few minutes if I'd have at least been spoken to and acknowledged.

I get that deliveries are probably none stop. But if someone is stood in the shop, infront of you, the least you could do is...

My visit to this take-away spot was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was delicious and maintained its warmth throughout my meal, allowing me to savor both the appetizer and the pizza at leisure. The manager at the counter was exceptionally kind, providing helpful directions and enhancing my dining experience. Although the space is somewhat limited, it remains comfortable and cozy. Very disappointed! Always been regulars then stopped ordering for a while as would order food and wouldn’t turn up for 2 hours after. Thought id try again tonight and had a nightmare!!! Ordered over 2 hours ago still no food sat here starving to then call up 3 times asking where the food is and been told yes it’s left out 10 mins ago etc. then call up again after being so angry waiting my child is crying hungry to be told it hasn’t even been made yet!!!
