The Restaurant Hub, Longbridge — Restaurant in Birmingham

We usually go to the Restaurant Hub at Sainsbury’s, Selly Oak, but today thought we’d go to Longbridge for a change. The sign on the entrance to the cafe said no Ed’s Diner, which was ok because we wanted a Carluccio’s coffee and a panini. There were only 3 sandwiches, no panininis left so decided to have a hot bacon bap, as advertised in the chiller cabinet on Carluccio’s cards. On asking the person on the till for 2 of them, I was told very brusquely that there was no Ed’s Diner! In no place in the chiller cabinet did it state that the advertised bacon and sausage baps were made by Ed’s Diner, and the card advertising them specifically said they were Carluccio’s! We will not be going there again. Bring back the original...

I have been the The Restaurant hub many times, and I've never had a problem there, The food is good and fairly priced, the Toasties are good for a quick bite. I personally love an oat milk Mocha, There's a good selection of cakes and pastries for when you are feeling naughty. Front counter staff are always welcoming and warm, It's a nice place to escape for a nice drink and something...

I shop in sainsburys almost daily and along with my daughter regularly visit the cafe as we find it’s a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive and always chatty and welcoming. All the staff are very nice but the girls out front Nadia & Mila always make us feel welcome.

We would highly recommend to anyone who visits and £6 for fish and chips you...
