KFC Birmingham — Restaurant in Birmingham

I visited this KFC earlier today, I went in and it was very quiet (around 2pm) I went and used the bathroom first, it was unpleasant in there, let's leave it at that!

I went to order my food at the order station and the machine went down, I waited for around 5 minutes while it rebooted, it then said error and couldn't use it, I headed to the counter to place my order, I greeted the girl on the counter and explained that the order station was down, she said no it's not, it's working fine, I said i'm really sorry but I just tried placing my order but it's not working, she stormed out from behind the counter slamming the door behind her and went to the order station, she then checked the other 2 stations that were also not working.

She returned to the counter and said well i'll have to take your order here, I asked for a ricebox and a Pepsi Max, she said we aren't doing rice boxes today, we are too busy (I looked around, trying to see where they were busy as I was the only person in the place)! I said OK, fine, please can I have a mighty bucket for one, she then tutted and said something about a voided transaction......she had put the ricebox through even though she had said they weren't doing them, like this was my fault!

She slammed the till drawer open and then closed and started to shout at the till, I contemplated leaving, but I was starving, she put the order through. While I was waiting for my order, a team leader came round and asked my server what the matter was and she began moaning that I had placed an incorrect order and then she needed to void it, I had to step in and explain that was not the case and that I had wanted a ricebox but was told they weren't an option due to the busy restaurant, the team leader asked if I wanted a ricebox, I said yes please If I can get one, she then said oh we haven't got any, ok, then i'll stick with what I ordered!

I was given my food and then waited patiently for several minutes for my drink, when I asked a member of staff for my drink he said have you paid for it, I said yes, I haven't been given it yet, he asked to see my receipt which i didn't have yet, despite asking for one previously, but the till roll had run out, I did get my drink, but what a faff! I was very disappointed with the behaviour of the one employee and felt her attitude was very rude. maybe she was having a bad day, but if that's how she copes with the pressure of one customer, I dread to think how she reacts when it's busy! I haven't been to this KFC before and won't be returning. BTW, the food was ok!

Well what can i say... Firstly giving my order to the car infront to be then given back to them as its not there order.. Then staff tried giving me the food inwhich i would not accept as its been in someone else's car.. with the covid going on i will not risk it with my children. I got told if i wanted the order i paid for then will have to wait 9 minutes for it. So i agreed and then got told to park up. So i parked up and waited 20 mins to which yes you guessed it no food,so then went to the collection point to ask how long it will be.. in which i was told il ask a manager.. she came back amd asked me what i ordered as they havnt done anything.. Me and my partner went in to the store and asked for a refund. The staff wasnt very polite and was sniggering and laughing about it. I could see how they was messing everyones order up and the management are very poor.. the staff need training properly and need lessons in being professional... I will not be visiting this branch again and suggest a complete overhaul of staff and training them to the correct levels of customer service... If i could give 0 stars i...

I went through the drive through and ordered a trilogy box meal and a chocolate sundae.

Never had a smaller portion of chips before from any fast food place or any other KFC. The rice I had with it was also very small only filling half the tub, if that; again from other KFCs the portion size is alot bigger.

The Zinger burger was not a Zinger burger. It was a regular fillet burger, which was over done and small, more bread than chicken. The popcorn chicken and mini fillet was fine. But as most KFCs do they often leave out the dip that comes with the meal and they did that in this case.

The Sundae was put in a flimsy carboard cup which leaked at the bottom.

KFC has put their prices up, you would expect with this increase they could atleast get the basics right, and at some KFC branches they do, but at this one not only can they not get the basics right but they give you less food. Ive been dissapointed with my experience at this KFC before in the past but on this occasion its made me not want to go back. Going to avoid this one...
