Two stars as at least part of the order was right. I should have learnt from previous experience to not have high hopes but ever the external optimist and all that!
Order via the app to avoid having to make decisions once there, there was no way I was going to wait in then queue around the roundabout to get into the drive through or car park so parked a bit further away and walked in to collect. It seems that social distancing and to a slightly lesser extent mask wearing isn't a thing inside with what I estimated was over have of Birmingham's Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo drivers (not 100% factually correct there but you get the idea) crammed inside keep their chins warm with masks at less than half mask. The number of non drivers who where there placing orders was probably 50/50 on mask front.
It was quite entertaining seeing the tempers flair of the people waiting as they had been there longer than the 30 seconds they expected, even more entertaining was the people coming in complaining about waiting in the drive thru to get incorrect orders. Been there myself several times but the staff don't deserve to be talked to like trash, not cool.
Anyway, my number gets called. Up I go and collect. Quickly looked in the bags and the item count looked correct, I should have actually looked in boxes and also compared the recipt to the order as given. Wasn't until I got home that I realised I hadn't my banana milkshake, oh well honestly I don't need the calories. But, but in one of the burger boxes instead of the big tower or whatever its called was some chicken thing, not happy. Oh on the subject of the happy meal, no book as requested, full size fries but a pleasant surprise was 9 chicken nuggets.
Anyway, this time I really really really mean this (but don't hold me to it) I won't be frequenting this...
Read moreI don't even know where to start with this place. If I was to sum up my general experience 90% of the time it is atrocious. Whoever is in charge here obviously has no leadership skills because every order I have received there is always something wrong... Take today from Uber, I was missing one of the three items (three 🙄) I ordered and my food was ice cold. My burger had nothing on it apart from a smear of ketchup.. And if you believe it or not, missing a piece of cheese... Now tell me? You make these burgers, hundreds of them a day. Why would someone forget a piece of cheese? Because there is no decent management making an effort to make sure that the customer experience is always to a high standard... I can't just blame the kids that work there because it is their leaders at fault here and that they are getting paid money to produce substandard food. The question isn't have they ruined someone's experience. The question is how many times are they doing this a day? I really wish everybody would give them a one star because they do not deserve the business because they have no intention of giving you the experience...
Read moreThe worst McDonald's I have ever used. Ordered through just eat and half the order was missing. Including a happy meal so one of our children didn't eat whilst the others did. We called the driver who said he quired this at the location and they said it was correct. When I went to the store Nathan the manager accused the driver of lying and he could have stolen the food?? And said he wouldn't replace the items. Right....but the vast majority of the money I paid was to you so why aren't you willing to fulfill the order? What made it worse is after I repurchased the missing items a customer who had the same situation came in after me and they supplied the missing items from his order to him straight away without charge. Do they just pick and choose who gets good service? It was complete chaos with multiple unhappy customers. No orders were being called out and the staff were clearly out of thier depth and that comes from poor training and leadership. They clearly can't handle deliveries so they shouldn't offer the service. Basics such as not putting fries in the bag as part of a meal aren't happening that's not good...
