I visited Pesto in Sutton Coldfield for the first time and was absolutely impressed. The concept of Italian tapas dishes is fantastic. It gave me the chance to try a wide variety of flavors without having to commit to just one dish. Everything I ordered was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Each small plate had its own unique taste while staying true to authentic Italian cooking.

One of the best parts? The prices were extremely affordable. For even just £20, you can easily enjoy at least three different dishes, which makes it perfect for sharing and trying new things without breaking the bank.

The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. Everyone had a smile on their face and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Service was attentive, helpful, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

A special shoutout to their non-alcoholic wine, a lovely, thoughtful option that added to the meal in the best way. It's not something you find everywhere, and I really appreciated it.

Honestly, I have no bad comments only great ones. This is without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, great value, and excellent service.

Can’t wait to go back and...

So lovely inside and out but the crockery and cutlery already on every table is off putting. Firstly, we do go there to eat - we go for coffee or a drink so every time we sit down we have to push all the plates, glasses and cutlery to one side. This in itself isn’t a problem as such, but it makes me worried about the next people who come to eat at the table after us! We’ve handled their tableware - a lot! Yuck! I’d never eat here because of that! Goodness knows how many people have been handling my plate and cutlery before me!? Even the napkins are set out! Such a terrible idea! So unhygienic and it’s not a good look either! Preset tableware? No thanks! Coffee is expensive because it’s served in small cups! Even cappuccinos - all in the same small cups. They are trying very hard to un-pub the place (previously incarnation) and I can see what they’re trying to achieve but if you’re not eating, it feels all wrong! Despite the tableware issue, it must be good food as there are always people eating there (and the few rebels like us) have a drink. Beautiful decor & furniture. Some young, slightly gauche staff who seem new to the service industry perhaps but are polite and helpful. All in all, a lovely pub / restaurant. Would...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to make an exception for Pesto because they were absolutely brilliant.

I was planning a surprise party for a friend (never again, by the way - it was absolutely madness to sort out), and the team at Pesto made the whole thing so much easier. I must’ve called every week for about two months, constantly changing the booking numbers, asking questions, and just generally being that person. But Shannon, who I spoke to over the phone, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout. She never once made me feel like I was being a nuisance, even though I’m pretty sure I was.

When we finally got there, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food delicious. I really loved that the menu is built around smaller dishes as it’s perfect for someone like me who can never decide on just one thing. It meant we got to try loads of different things, and everything we ordered was delicious. The pricing was also great! Very fairly priced!

Couldn’t recommend this place more. They really went above and beyond and helped make the night special. Thanks again to...

First time at Presto and I’m so impressed. We had a booking on Saturday at 2pm and we ordered off the daytime menu.I ordered pizzetta pepperoni, fettuccine alla carbonara and patate all’origano for 3 for £11.99.And I have to say I am throughly impressed. The fettuccine alla carbonara has to be one of the best I have ever tasted, the pizzetta pepperoni was average, just a bit on the tough side.Hence I was struggling to cut with my knife, after I while I just gave up and had to ask my boyfriend to help me out.The patate all’origano was on the ok side did not really enjoy it. For the price and the portion I have to say it’s such a good deal.Even if you dun get the opportunity to get the daytime menu the rest of the normal menu is so well priced. Highly recommended anyone coming to try the day time menu to make booking as the restaurant can get quite packed. If you’re in Sutton Coldfield, I can’t recommend Pesto enough:)

This was very much a random find for me. I was waiting for my MOT to be completed down the road from here, so I came up for some grub. (Plenty of parking out front just be sure to punch your reg into the machines inside to validate your parking.) There was so much to choose from which I really didn't expect. There were many vegetarian options which is always great! The waitress serving the tables helped me choose my meal which was really helpful. The food came promptly and was packed with flavour! It was lovely! I was never forgotten and it was easy to order anything extra. At the end I was expecting a hefty bill and yet was pleasantly surprised! All in all I would highly recommend this place! Hope you have the same great experience I did! ENJOY

This restaurant, is absolutely amazing! Easy parking system with registering your registration upon entry, the cocktails were fantastic, food was, incredible and was a great way to have a belated valentine's meal with my partner. The food is tapas style so minimum amount of dishes I would recommend is 4 and then you get to choose from such a wide variety. The only reason I mark down the atmosphere was that we were placed on a table with the toilet door right behind me so the flow of traffic was quite constant and a few bumps in the back. I'd maybe move the table or add a nice room divider behind the chair so that it gives it a nicer feel at that specific table. I still highly recommend this place for some amazing Italian food!
