Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

I am writing this as I am truly impressed with a member of staff at this store. I have difficulty in standing and just getting about due to disabilities that case me alot of pain. But to look at me you wouldnt think there was anything wrong except I use a metal walking stick. I was queing and when I got to the till there was a new starter who was doing very well and a other member making all the drinks and guiding the new starter. There was no flapping and customers were being served at a steady rate and no matter how many people came in there was still a carm and controlled manner by both members of staff. I couldnt walk around to find a seat and carry my drink so I sat opposite the counter waiting for my drink. But the male member of staff insisted that I stay sat and he would bring me my drink. This is the second time this has happend as I had a young lady do the same awhile ago but it wasnt as busy as this time. I am super impressed that no matter how busy the staff member was he took the time to insist in bringing me my drink in a kind and professional way. Was really pleased to see another new business in the town initially although I’ve since stopped going in to Costa - most of the empty tables (that I have seen) often left dirty, and cluttered; water all over the floor on one visit, which I mentioned and was handed a few tissues to clean up; spilled coffee all over the counter. It’s a shame as the coffee is good and many of the shopkeepers work hard all year round in trying to improve the town; just seems a bit of effort is lacking re hygiene/potentially attracting custom. Costa Kirkham is fabulous, served on the day by Aimee who is friendly and happy to help, making a splendid cappuccino...! Tbh up there with the best. This is a relatively new store with good ability to ppl watch being on the main street. Toilets are clean and well maintained tables are quickly cleared and cleaned.
