Orathai Restaurant — Restaurant in Borough of Fylde

We ha a party of 5 last night and the service was good but 3 of us had different chicken dishes and all of us said the same. The chicken was over cooked. We did not understand this as it only opened on Wednesday at 6pm and we were first in. Don't know when the chicken was cooked first but not fresh that night. Were are visitors and we have been several times before but this will be our last. It is a pity as it appeared to be the same people who operate it. Could not recommend...

I can see why this place is highly rated. The food is VERY tasty. My husband and I travelled about 30 mins to get to this restaurant because of all the food reviews, and it did not disappoint. I’m a city girl so this was a big departure from the glam city restaurants I would typically eat in, it’s a very small, cosy, village type restaurant, but that also has it’s charm. I like my food with a spicy kick and they nailed it!

We are so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in the village. We eat there regularly and are never disappointed. The food is authentic and and tasty but what makes it for me is the cheerfulness of the owner & his wife who always make you feel welcome and serve you with "old fashioned" courtesy and warmth. The prices are very reasonable especially mid-week specials and we shall continue to eat there regularly whilst those standards prevail... and all within...
