Plum Tree Farm Carvery serves the most wonderful food! With either the large restaurant or bar area to to have your meal. The decor is very cosy indeed, with an open fire available in the colder months. On entering, the staff are extremely friendly & made you feel welcome instantly. All their food is prepared freshly on the premises & service is quick. You have either the choice of the carvery, (which is served throughout the day/night, woth a very hard working Chef!), or choose from the main menu, (which offers a very good variety to suit everyone's tastes!). Their desserts are almighty & definitely worth a try!!! A great "Takeaway Service," is also available. At busier times, e.g weekends, school holidays, etc. you can take a seat within the bar area where you are given a device that will give you an alert when your table is ready. Washroom facilities are available which cater for all needs. A children's activity area is provided to the back of the restaurant.Their is a large carpark to the front of the main entrance with disabled spaces available. Plum Tree Farm also have a Christmas Savings Club. All details are included with the photo included in my review. Opening times; Monday; 7am-10pm Tuesday; 7am-10pm Wednesday; 7am-10pm Thursday; 7am-10pm Friday; 7am-11pm Saturday; 7am-11pm Sunday; 7am-10pm. Definitely worth a visit!

Very popular and busy restaurant and pub. The carvery is excellent value and quality. I would recommend arriving before 5pm as the wait for the carvery can be somewhat tiresome, especially if you have two young grandchildren with you, BUT WORTH THE WAIT. The house red 🍷 by the bottle is reasonably priced and in all honesty its ok. I would recommend this carvery to anyone 👍👍👍👍👍 just to add the staff are polite, friendly but professional at the same time. We live in Madrid so coming back to the UK for a short visit wouldn't be the same without a BRITISH SUNDAY CARVERY and you did it proud 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 We returned this morning with two of our grandchildren to sample the all you can eat breakfast. Great choice of cereals, and fresh fruit. Hot and cold drinks on tap. Choice of a traditional English buffet breakfast or a continental breakfast. We decided on the buffet breakfast, the cost is £9.50 per adult, the bonus is children eat free 👍 The breakfast consists of: bread to toast with a choice of butter, jam etc, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon ( would have been more enjoyable if it had been cooked a little longer as it was a little like boiled ham) the mushrooms were really tasty, black pudding, tomatoes 🍅 tasty sausages, beans and hash browns. Overall very tasty a great value 😋 😋 👍👍👍👍

First time here, my daughter recommended it You are better to book as it is a really busy place. Me and my daughter had the large carvery, my partner had something off the menu and grandson had the child's meal and free ice cream. Plenty of choice, cooked red cabbage, cauliflower (not sure if it was cauliflower cheese as I couldn't really see any sauce), carrots and broccoli, roasted parsnips, mash and toasties (not frozen ones) and a big Yorkshire pudding extra if you want pigs in blankets which I wouldn't get again as there was hardly any bacon on them. The vegetables looked really good and not over cooked. They also do gluten free gravy, not sure if they do other gluten free meals. It was good but I probably wouldn't have carvery again as it was a bit bland. The ham was a bit to wet for me and I wasn't mad on the beef, the turkey was good though. You can't go up again for seconds which is understandable as there is always a queue due to it being busy. For me I'd rather have a roast at a pub rather than carvery, but for people that like carvery I would say eat here as it's the best carvery I've seen.

Visited here on a Monday around 5pm. Was fairly quiet. Found a nice table , and ordered straight away at the bar x2 large carvery (£11.99 pp) and drinks, qued for the meat part of the carvery as there was no sign of the staff for around 10 minutes. Once he came he was friendly enough and apologised. Plenty of veg available. Turkey was running low however once we were eating we could see a new one had been brought out and replaced. The meat on offer was a decent selection - beef turkey or gammon. Yorkshire puddings were really nice. Had been craving a carvery for about 92 hours so it hit the spot - veg was all good and gravy only part I didn’t enjoy was the broccoli as it tasted like soil / mud and watery. Had about 10 parsnips ha was so happy they were available as they aren’t always. Cranberry sauce sweet and tasty. And a large chocolate fudge cakeaway for when we got home which was thoroughly delicious nice soft sponge and lovely buttercream. So glad we went and it isn’t that far from home.

Clean, friendly pub. Wide choice of food to choose from on the menu plus 3 roast meats to choose from at the carvery. I had beef & gammon, both well cooked, juicy and not too much fat to trim off. Had a few pints of ipa, perfect beer although as seen in 2nd pic measures were a little below a pint, maybe it was a bit gassy / lively when pouring. £3.10 a pint which is pretty reasonable, and food prices were around £7-£10 on average. Varied, enjoyable background music at a reasonable volume. Toilets clean like the rest of the place. Would highly recommend for family’s, couples or anyone! Thanks. Update! Returned the following morning for coffee & toast for £3.78. Again spotlessly clean, staff friendly & everything you could think of to eat & drink for breakfast! Gonna upgrade my rating to 5 stars which I very rarely award to eateries! Well done!

After coming from a different pub who disappointed us with their service and carvery, we made the choice to try out plum tree as they would be playing the England vs spain match and serving carvery. Upon entering we were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff, who immediately cleared a table for us. The carvery was exceptional with a wide variety of sides (the parsnips were my personal favourite), so delicious. Then a member of staff went out of her way by saving us a table in front of the big TV for the England vs spain match so we could move over after we were finished eating. (Wish I got her name all I know was that she was wearing an England football shirt on 14.7.24). Really changed our day around and will definitely be coming again.
