We went for some light lunch before our shop. You order on the kiosk now no menu to sit and look at that would of been better for my elderly nanna with us. Most of the food was unavailable, but not much choice even with the items that were unavailable, we were hungry that we just said we would all get coffee and a cake and go elsewhere after our shop. Didn't wait long for the cakes and coffee around 5 mins. The lady brought them to our table, but has spilt the coffee everywhere all over the tray and onto some of the cakes. She did wipe it up but after she put it all on the table as the bottoms of everything was soaked now was the table. The cakes were dry I had a chocolate one and even with the icing and added coffee and the coffee didn't really taste like coffee, hard to describe. Half was on the trey anyway! Wouldn't say it was value for money at all, and I wouldn't go back.

My disappointment with a recent visit to the Tesco cafe. The food quality was very poor—cold, burnt, and reminiscent of a greasy spoon diner. It was evident that it was being managed by staff who showed little care for customer satisfaction. During the 35 minutes I was there, the floor remained dirty, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness and hygiene. This is not the standard I remember from previous visits, and it now feels like a faceless, impersonal experience. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite high for the subpar quality of food and service received. Given Tesco’s reported profits of £2.8 billion for 2023/24, I expected better quality and more effort in providing a pleasant dining experience. Due to this disappointing experience, I do not plan on returning to Tesco cafe.

A bit quiet when I went, order off a machine !! I think I prefer the old type cafe where you can get good service and great food choices at the counter. The meal I got was alright not something I would normally order, though I didn’t want to spend time going back and forth trying to order what I wanted, not a great choice of food. I didn’t go back to the machine to order another coffee or a cake or something too much hassle ! Toilets are not in the cafe though a short walk towards the tills. Very spacious, a beacon on the table so the waitress knows where to go Large car park, great shopping at Tesco. Babsby was my Waitress very welcoming and talked for a short while, very good service. Just not my cup of tea ☺️

Looks really nice to sit & eat which it was it’s just a shame the food was a let down. We both had the breakfast (1 big, 1 small), first impression it looks great till you move it around & start tasting it. First you notice the grease which you can get past, then eating it is where it goes downhill. There’s no flavour to the sausage or bacon, the hash browns taste mushy when you eat them, to be fair the egg & toast was the best bits. Also if you want ketchup the only option is Tesco own brand which is really low grade, it tastes awful. I nearly forgot my partner paid £1.25 for a mushroom on her breakfast, she was expecting a large flat mushroom for that price but she was disappointed, instead a medium over cooked mushroom arrived.

Would definitely not recommend or...
