THE LOVE...... The main ingredient of this restaraunts popularity is not actually its amazing food but rather the warmth, care and humanity of the family running it. 'Madge', the patriarch/host is the perfect frontman! He always has time for a sincere and genuine chat. He listens with real interest to his customers, comprehending and caring about their life. I know this because I see him enquiring for new information regarding previous customer conversation. Magit makes you feel like you belong almost like a part of the Musafir family. THE FOOD...... There is a 'sauce-erer' hidden away in the back of this restaraunt! A culnary genius secretly blending herbs, spices and ingredients to a level of magical wizardry! The cook/chef producing the food here is obviously a very experienced dish mystro who never fails to satisfy my palet. I am myself an accomplished artist and creative producer, one who has often been desctibed as a perfectionist. So when I tell you this chef is a real artist, you can believe it is true! His food is simply delicous. The texture of his chicken masala is a heavenly creamy affair that stimulates the taste buds supremely. I do believe it to be the very best chicken Masala I have ever eaten anywhere.

THE SERVICE ....... Madgits D.N.A. is a true asset to all staff helping out from his family! They all posess his warmth and charm. The effort to improve your mental wellbeing whilst seated is a clear business policy. There is never a problem, only solutions. Every requirement is dealt with positively, happily and eagerly. There is a good helping of joviality that keeps a smile on the customers face! The staff never forget a name or a face. This sense of social regard creates a wonderful atmosphere of inclusion. Great care is also taken to be accurate and efficient with orders. The waiters make absolutely sure they have your order completely correct. When the food arrives it always feels like a very reasonable waiting period, a length of time that should be rightly expected when food is cooked from fresh. There is definitely no pre prepared food being microwaved here! Madge or his staff make you feel cared for during your feast with occaisional table checks to confirm the quality of your experience. This is done just enough and done subtly and with professionalism.

FINAL WORDS...... This is by far my very favorite Indian restaraunt. I have tried most in my area and around Skipton, Keighley and Colne and nothing touches them. The 4 elephants comes close but falls short on atmosphere and warmth. The cost of the food at Musafir's is maybe a tiny bit on the higher side but I am a great believer in paying that bit more for true quality.for this reason I always gain a pleasant sense of satisfaction when I see my bill! It is always a bargain! Needless to say we always leave a good tip!

This is a magical family restaraunt providing the highest quality cousine at a rediculously good price. If you value good food, a fantastic host and a very classy environment to eat in then Musafir's should not be missed.

UPDATE... I HAVE BEEN RELUCTANT TO POST THIS BUT I NO LONGER CAN USE MUSAFIRS AND THE LAST FEW WEEKENDS WE CRAVED A TAKEAWAY AND MILKSHAKE BUT I CAN NO LONGER ORDER AFTER YEARS OF CUSTOM.

I WAS RIPPED OFF A FEW TIMES NOW. I PAID FOR MILKSHAKES THAT DIDN'T COME AND RECIEVED NO REFUND AND EVEN FAKE PROMISES OF REDELIVERY THAT DIDNT HAPPEN RESULTING IN TEARS AS MY SON WAITED. IM GUTTED. IVE HAD RICE THAT WAS PAINFULLY SPICY... A LACK OF CONSISTENCY IS SPICE LEVELS . SOME CHEFS ARE GREAT... OTHERS ARE TERRIBLE ITS SEEMED TO IMPROVE BUT AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS FOR A DELIVERY A PROMISED A PARTIAL REFUND THAT NEVER CAME I STILL ORDERED AGAIN AND STILL THERE WAS MISSED ITEMS, BURNT NAAN AND EVEN RICE THAT WAS SO SPICY KIDS COULDNT EAT (IT WAS PANEER RICE AND PEA RICE) I'M DONE. IT IS CLEAR THE COOK USES THE SAME HEVAILY SPICE TAINTED UTENSILS ON EVERYTHINGS AND TAINTS IT TO BE INEDIBLE FOR MILD SPICE LOVERS. MAKES ME WORRH ABOUT THE HYGIENE AS IT HAS BREN 2 IN THE PAST. NO CONSISTENCY AND IVE EVEN HAD A VEGETABLE CURRY WITH ONLY 2 POTATOES AND 7 PIECES OF VEG ! RIP OFF. SORRY BUT POOR POOR POOR.

We were seated very promptly drinks ordered, pickle tray arrived and order taken . From there it went downhill , the Starter was mediocre from finishing the starter to still not receiving the main 30 mins . They were quick enough to refill your drinks which were not cheap . After asking once the mains were apparently going to be 5 minutes after ten, when we were delivered a jug of water and not the sparkling We asked for which was apparently on its way , the waiter asked if we had ordered!!! I said we had been waiting for our mains for a while. He went to check and said ours would be next. After another wait and no mains we decided to leave . Paying at the bar the waiter was very rude and offered no apologies apart from literally throwing a celebration chocolate tub at us filled with different sweets . The bill was ,£40 for some beers ,water a pickle tray and the starters for 2 people . We will not be returning and will discourage anyone we know...
