I hired Pendle Kitchen to cater for my wife's surprise 40th birthday party, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Michaela went above and beyond to feed 50 hungry partygoers with some truly stunning charcuterie grazing boards and a fun filled chocolate fountain. The food was amazing, the meats, cheeses, olives and all the beautiful touches were a hit with all the guests, especially the kids in the family who loved the chocolate fountain. Everything was there on time, within budget, and presented so well! It was absolutely superb. The attention to detail and quality of service were exceptional. Hi I came across this place quite by accident called in and bought a large lamb dinner I was quite impressed by the the quality of the food although my tea was cold when it finally arrived. I could not wait for my next visit. However I have since called 3 more times and bought the same meal each time only to be disappointed. Cauliflower needed a steak knife to cut it. Lamb tough and full of gristle roast potatoes burned and not much bigger than a pickled onion and and in all much smaller portion that on my first visit. Doubt if I will...

Good cafe serving Roast dinners and various other specials as well as full English breakfast. It's quite a small cafe inside but there's tables outside too. It can get quite busy at lunch time most days but if you go regular like I do and the people get to know you a bit you can usually sit next to them. You need to be patient when it's busy as the ladys are working hard in the back doing lots of meals but it's worth the wait as it's a great little cafe with real old school...
