Myself and a couple of friends went there a couple of weeks ago whilst going up Pendle Hill. We all ordered sperately hot drinks for takeaway. Even though out of us 3 I ordered first, my friends got their drinks after a couple of minutes, but mine did not arrive. I went to ask about it and been told "its coming". People who ordered well after me got their drinks, but mine was no where to be seen. I wanted a total of 22 minutes before asking again (for a simple mocha). I went in the cafe (as we were waiting outside) and asked again, and none of the servers / baristas even knew that they were supposed to do my drink. They were still serving others who came after. I had to wait inside another 5 minutes and stand directly near the till to get the drink. And once they finally gave it to me (over 30min in total) it came in a wrong cup. They ignored me the whole time, didnt even say sorry for the wait. The service is extremely poor, staff are more infterested in gossping then working. Not worth waiting over half an hour for a cup of coffee. Would...

We have walked pendle hill many times and always gave ourselves a treat at the end. We were happy to see the Cabin open and bought some scones and coffees. We sat to eat our own sandwich while waiting for our treat when the owner came over and asked us to not eat our own food. I was shocked and offended after I explained we had bought some food from her. She still insisted we move. The picnic tables were at least 200 yards away. How she expected us to eat our sandwich on one table and hear our order bring shouted is beyond me. Also if I have bought something from her I should be able to eat it at her table. Maybe I should do a relay 😂😂. Hence to say I wont be eating there again. I do understand the reasoning around it but it wasnt as if I hadn't...

Very good team of hardworking staff, all beavering away very efficiently on a hot day. Prompt service. Friendly and helpful. I had a Lancashire cheese cold sandwich platter and a fruit scone. Great sarnie with lots of lovely proper cheese in. Scone was a bit of a small, runt shaped one but it was all good. Gets very busy but it doesn't affect the pleasant service you receive. I wouldn't want to work in a hot cabin on a steamy hot busy day, so all the staff did really well. Also sells consumables, mugs, teatowels etc. Plenty of outdoor seating and there's picnic tables by the stream too. Loo block just opposite. Car park which costs just £3 for 3+ hours. I would revisit when in the area as it was good service and food was...

Great little place, served a lovely cold beer on the way down from the hill.

We arrived here on Sunday afternoon just for short walk with a dog. Surprised with spacious parking, toilets and little cafe (open from 10 to dusk). After one hour walk along the river in cold weather we decided to have a look into The Cabin. Unfortunately kitchen was closed (belive 15:30) but take-away drinks and snacks still available. Lovely hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow made my day. There are few tables outside and some inside. Parking cost: first 30 mins free, up to 3hrs - £1.5, over 3 hrs - £3. Card and cash payment. Parking gate is closing at 6pm after season.
