Will's — Restaurant in Borough of Pendle

Visited Wills on 28th January 2023. We sat down at our table at 5pm. By 5:30pm we was already asking for the bill due to already having all our food and drinks… very fast… too fast service. When we arrived we was seated and thought everything was fine and ordered our food. We received our food and the pizza was stone cold… not stone baked. The chips were warm but not very. We sat eating our meal and not once got asked this everything was okay and none walked past for us to be able to say our food wasn’t up to satisfactory. When eating the pizza, the base was still undercooked and doughy so we stopped eating the pizza. When we finished someone cleared the plates and again never asked if everything was okay when clearly we’d left majority of our food. We asked for the bill and was given the bill very quickly and we paid and left. This service wasn’t good at all and will not be returning. Loved the food (fantastic) and the atmosphere in the restraunt and additional the friendly staff were fantastic.. The marks down are simply down to the bouncer who within 60 seconds of last orders was trying to force us out the bar in an aggressive manner. As a grownup I don't feel the need to be spoken and treated like a child and moving forward I'd like to come back and be treated more like an adult. I appreciate time scales are imperative especially during these times but communicate it better rather than bang on the minute it's time to close you...

Service was outstanding. The staff anticipated our every need and were lovely to chat to.

The food was beautiful and I would particularly recommend looking at the specials board which I understand changes regularly.

The wine list is extensive but as a bit of a lay person when it comes to wine the staff were happy to give us their recommendations based on our taste.

The atmosphere is lovely for an intimate date night or with a group of friends alike.
