Ashoka — Restaurant in Borough of Rossendale

We had a delivery from Ashoka via Rossendale Eats. The food was delivered within the reasonable time promised and was lovely and hot ready to be tucked into.

The portions while not massive were enough for one person to consume comfortably without wanting more and leaving no waste, which from the businesses side of things where wastage is concerned is very efficient.

Their naan breads could be bigger if I am really looking for something to pick up on, but they’re probably perfect for most folk.

The delivery driver was also the owner I believe and he was very polite, bowing as we took the bag off him.

Never normally leave review but poor response has made me. Order a week or so ago and food was loverly and fresh. Tonight ordered, and the masala was like water and had a really sour taste. Literally un-edable. Phoned and let them know and response before putting phone down is next time we will give for free. Sorry but sending what you have out, wasn't good enougth and fresh should have been sent. It won't be free next time because I won't order again and un shamefully now leave you a poor review. Absolutely appalling. The starter was just a mush of food when it was supposed to be a mixed starter for two. Just over run with onions and looked like slop. The main meal was just as bad if not worse, the naan bread was completely burnt black so totally inedible. The mushroom rice was dry and tasteless and the curry was plain with no taste and is the most disgusting curry meal I have ever had.
