My sister and myself booked a table here for Sunday lunch to finish off a weekend break in Yorkshire and as its a pub I have always loved for its cosy traditional atmosphere, lovely beer garden and a nice pint of ale, However I have to say the Sunday lunch was very disappointing. After waiting 20 minutes for our order to be taken, we gave up, paid at the bar and went home. We’d been there for nearly two and a half hours, for two starters and four main courses. The slow service really spoiled the experience for us,...
