2024: huge improvement in any deficiencies in 2022. Chips portions are great and so fresh and tasty KFC style 10/10 Chicken pieces vastly improved. Huge and so tasty and cooked great. 10/10 Service was 10/10 Food was very hot 10/10 Got plenty salt, pepper, wipes 10/10 Only 2 sauce for 12 piece chicken 2/10:( Great experience 10/10 My new best place for eatout. 2022: 3/5 overall Overall takeaway experience for meal for 6 people. Average taken before with variations greatly depending on the person subjective opinions and desires: 10/10 parking at the back. Plenty of space 10/10 clean and ambient chic eating area 10/10 eco green with no paper menu. On their app and menu on the board. 2/10 for the large 4 boards so high get neck strain 4/10 choice of the combination in the set meals e.g no chips with full chicken meal! No burgers in any big meals! 7/10 very good serving customer service. 10/10 speed of items done but 4/10 food not hot. 3/10 the wing though nice and spicy was not much meat not very tasty and very very salty. 6/10 chicken pieces. Good but size and for me after taking of the thick batter of so early like a jacket for others they find it was not cooked fully and the batter is so so thick and salty that you "unzip" it of to eat the chicken else cantor take it off with teeth or with cultury. 8/10 fresh potato thick cut chips that though half to usual was adequate. 5/10 chicken fillet burgers.. For myself i loved it but the other person found it overcooked and dry and not juicy they are only half. 0/10 no sauces! 0/10 no tissues or wipes given!

It was overall as takeaway not bad i do not think I'll go back again. Other better less dairy and better battered chicken and not so so salty and less boney wings.

I would pass by in the afternoon and wow or is so busy. I saw many went for the grill peri peri chicken so i think next time need...

As we walked in and tried to find a table many were not cleaned and the seats had food bits on them. This is unacceptable considering that the restaurant was empty and there were more than enough staff working. There was no offer to clean our table. We ordered food and the service was friendly. Once our food was ready, there was no salad in this (compared to other rival who offer salad) and the most sad thing was that no sauce was offered. I had to ask which sauce I wanted with my chicken. The chicken was good but some of it didn't seem fully cooked. The chips were lovely. However, at the end the person servicing us told us to leave a 5* review and if we did then he would give us free wings. I had Said clearly that those free wings were to be grilled. However, once we completed the review (against what I believe) we were offered fried wings and were told that grilled wasn't part of the deal! How shocking because those fried wings would have gone in the bin considering it was the end of the day around 9:30pm. Not too happy...

Thought id try a new chicken take away, but this first visit was also my last at Cheeky Chicken. Extremely disappointed to say the least ( actually feel robbed) . There was a longer than expected wait initially also which was a surprise as they didn't appear that busy), but that's not my main bone of contention here in this review. How to explain, basically The spicy wings tasted like just skin and oil & more oil, the wrap was more like a mushy lettuce & mayonnaise wrap - minimal chicken inside which was also mushy instead of 'al denta' as chicken should be). The fries were ok. I can't believe this quality is being served. I actually don't think I've ever had this quality of unappetizing chicken ever. If I ate-in instead of take away & came home then i would've taken it back to the counter and demanded a refund. Back to Runnymede chicken and chips rather for me in future, which is at least enjoyable & satisfying which when comparing to Cheeky Chicken was neither of these basic...
