Our second time in here now even though I've lived here for 3yrs now and it's a little gem in Leysdown to be truthful with a great atmosphere helpful happy staff Quick service, tidy and very presentable pub /sports bar. family-run

Looking summer ready!!! ———————————————- Saturday afternoon entrainment was great with an experienced DJ called Paul 4pm to 7 pm slot with his collection of top tunes getting the place rocking, great entertainment with a wide range of young and older customers, very family-oriented so children welcome with parents of course I was told that many shows have been booked for the summer months so might have to crash them.

Sports bar area —————————— 2 Dartboards up one end and a pool table the other of this sports bar, complete with dance floor so you can chuck some shapes during your time in here. Rear garden with plenty of room for kids.

We noticed a sign displayed at the bar (cash only ) so bring your wallet no card payments yet... Prices aren't bad either, we haven't tried the meals yet, apparently Roast are the Biz on a Sunday, so the regulars let us now around the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out Iv got a feeling this may become our regular when down here. Not far from the main town and local takeaways plus a walk to the beach but who's come down for that lol 😆. Very close to many sites on the island so not far to fall... All in all we felt very welcome We are in our 50s so we love club and house music plus the good old 70/80/90s The entitlement after 7pm playing everything last Saturday including some hits from the 1960s, so a wide range depending on who's come to play. A little bit of knees up mother brown to boot too.. So bring your grandparents lol. A fantastic atmosphere including the dancing on the not-bad-sized dancefloor.

Clean toilets (definitely a plus in my book ) No clicky atmosphere either. A real pub 🍻 with real people And no I don't work for them lol 😆

Omg Sunday roast proper home cooked family food run by Mandy, Claire, Val, Skye, Kev and there family we went in once 4 years ago to try and now its every week and even when you have dietary needs they are completely supportive and do wat ever they can. Ladies and Kev of course you and your food is amazing. We sometimes take our little dog with us queenie and she gets all the fuss. Wednesday bingo aswell eyesdown 7pm-ish wen Alan's ready lol again great laugh and bit of fun all the 2s 22 quack...

Went for a girlie weekend away in the caravan park next to this pub and couldn't see any reason to travel further than next door for a drink....what can I say,good value (drinks were cheap lol)staff were really friendly on Friday it was karaoke and everyone was friendly and we had a good laugh and on the Saturday evening they had a live singer who was really good ,we had a really enjoyable...
