Mr India — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

Absolutely so disappointed went to Mr India to celebrate Valentines night with my husband. The service was incredibly poor when we did actually get served 20 minutes after arriving we order drinks 20 minutes later we ordered our food. 35 minutes later When the food arrived, mine was cold and my husband‘s was warm. When we complained the waiter said I’m sorry about that and walked off. My husband not wanting to cause upset said it’s okay It’s Not stone cold, I can eat it, I didn’t eat mine!! As it wasn’t even warm!! Food was cold and a very small portion in comparison to when we were there last summer, Then when it came to paying they said they can take a card machine for the drinks, but need cash for the food I explained, I only have a card on me as there was nothing on the website and I was not informed that it was cash only when i paid my £20 deposit the day before!! We booked our table for 8.30 the service was very slow, our food finally came out at 10pm of which my masala chips where stone cold they offered to replace these and the owner came over to apologise for this and continued to say he would look after us. When we got the bill they took £7 off the price however our separate drink bill we got charged for extra drinks that we never had when we stated we wasn’t happy with just £7 knocked off the bill and asked to speak with the owner we got told she was the manager and he was not coming out to speak with us we said we wasn’t happy about that she just shrugged her shoulders and said that this was all she would do and made us feel small very poor never again especially as at 10pm neither of us...

We didn't receive all of the order. Live in Leysdown. Waited over 2 hours for the order. Meant to be 1.5hr max. Had to drive down to get the rest of order whilst the order was at home going cold, or wait another wait time. Ended up eating without friends as they had to eat and go before I could get back home. Wasn't very tasty for a dansak either, bland and flat tasting, bahgis were very dry and hard. They offered a discount only on the next order, Not on this one, despite us paying delivery, but had to go collect food items which were missing which was a whole curry missing.
