I wish I could give them a -10 on a review.
This is the worst Chinese food I've ever tried in my life. Staff was quite unpleasant. Service was revolting. There is a service interruption. The employees don't even comprehend the instructions. (We stated clearly that we do not eat meat, but were served meat and were changed after another complaint.) The menu is misleading, and when we requested the staff to correct it, they had no idea what we were talking about. And we ended up paying twice as much. Food was insipid, and we felt sick after eating the soup. When we expressed our experience, the staff was quite disrespectful, and one of them even told my wife to shut up while pointing a finger at us, and kept telling us to pay and leave. The lady at the cash register was yelling at us until the owner arrived and intervened. We discovered a flaw in the pledges.
We travelled all the way to Kent in the hopes of enjoying a pleasant journey and a good evening meal, but we ended up destroying it with an event we will never forget. I don't normally post negative reviews, but I couldn't help myself because I want customers to know what they'll get if they visit this dreadful establishment.
If you're hoping for a relaxing evening, stay away from this restaurant since you'll wind up wasting money on the worst night...
Read moreI have been coming to this Chinese for around 20 years now and it never ceases to impress me. It’s so good that it’s ruined all other Chinese meals for me as I automatically compare them to The Dragon.
We have celebrated countless birthdays and taken many people, both locals and visitors here for dinner. Everyone has always been extremely happy with their experience. Even my 80 year old grandparents enjoy it and they’re notoriously anti-takeaways.
There is nowhere on this God-forsaken island that is more special than here. I live in London now but The Dragon is somewhere I always return to when visiting my parents. I love you and your food, please never change.
I implore everyone to order from here. I cannot see how you could be disappointed. P.S. the mandarin ribs will...
Read moreCouldn't believe how and why it was so empty. The restaurant was so busy most days of the week when I lived on the island and was passing by, we went for a Saturday evening meal, and there were only two other tables occupied. The last time I ate here was over twenty years, back then, it was a local favourite and Charlie was the perfect host. Anyway, the food was outstanding and there was plenty of it, some of the best I've had, outside of Soho. Staff were attentive, overly so actually and to our amusement, I felt like a scolded child, being told that I was ordering too much, that made me laugh a lot. All in all, it is still as good as it was all...
