Nando's Sittingbourne — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I’ve eaten at Nando’s Sittingbourne about 20 times and I’ll give you my reasons for my review.

1. very quiet evening, staff seemed uninterested in engaging with myself and family while taking order. Spent £100 for 2 adults and 3 kids
2. food came fairly quickly, portions seemed smaller than usual, had to order another bigger for kids to share the chips and chicken breasts. Usually leave food behind, this time everything was gone.
3. you had about 6 floor staff on including manager (assuming he was the person with the dark blue/denim shirt on) had to go and ask for mayo, not one person attended our table to ask how the food was and if we needed anything. Manager (assumed) was having dinner/food with another female member of staff and having a great time/chat. He even layed down in the booth for about 5 mins. It seemed most staff were keen to see how he and the other member of staff were, we were totally ignored.
4. leaving around 9:15pm (only us and 1 table of 2 left in the whole restaurant, not one member of staff said thank you or good night. Another annoying issue was the ice cream machine was not working, kids like ice cream and a suggestion would be to keep a couple of tubs of ice cream in your deep freeze incase something like this happens. When you’re offering a kids meal with ice cream and then take it away and cannot offer them an alternative, it’s not good. I hope you can learn from this review. I too own/run my own business and have previously owned and run my own restaurant/pub. I would be horrified by the service if this was my establishment. The rice is rich, the slaw is sleek, The halloumi? Makes strong men weak. The garlic bread—a golden spell. I wept. I wept. And wept quite well.

He wields his tongs like poets wield the pen, A maestro at the grill again. And through the heat and hiss and smoke, Jay smiles—a calm amidst the poke Of orders screamed and fryers boiling, Still proud, still bright, still ever toiling.

So here’s to Jay, the peri prince, Whose flame-born plates make angels wince. If ever joy on Earth has shown— It’s in that booth, that sauce, that tone.

If I could give 0 I would! Ordered a delivery when it came Mac and cheese for my daughter was missing! Called Nando’s spoke to a lady who had an attitude after explaining she said she will confirm with manager then came back saying nothing they can do m, I need to ring deliveroo and get refund when I asked to speak to manager she said I am the manger when I asked for her name she said here speak to the other manager Beks Well Becks had even a bitter attitude! I spend my money with your restaurant I expect a good service not a bad attitude!!! they blamed the delivery guy but when he delivered my order the bags were sealed and he had nothing left in the bag so Nando’s missed it instead of apologising and offering a solution they said nothing they can do I have to ring deliveroo which never answer they’re phone!
