The Abbey Cake Shop — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

I went to the Abbey cake shop for the first time to collect an order for someone which was 2 Chaturie boards. I collected one not realising the order was for two so had to go back to collect the second. When i did this, the first lady was very polite and helpful however the 2 other staff i was met with first could learn some customer service skills,being met with a not believable attitude and having to ask them to look at their order history that two instead of one was brought. They then gave me the second board but feel more organisation could be improved in what their customer has actually ordered and paid for. The boards were however fantastic and wouldn't mind going back there for future, however a little politeness and less unbothersome attitude would improve things, finding that this could intimidate others in actually requesting or querying their order as not many would go back being to worried to, so making others welcome and being attentive to orders would help alot, with other people telling me that staff can be rude in there. As i said, this was a first time visit and not a overly positive one,so im open to seeimg this as it was a busy day and you dont know what others go through, however consumers should feel welcomed when...

Booked for afternoon tea with a friend, and it was all delicious. 4 different types of sandwich, 2 different types of wrap, scine with jam & clotted cream , plus a lovely cupcake and lovely fresh fruit. Plus tea or coffee. We were not rushed in any way, were allowed to swop one of the cupcakes for a different one and had a 2nd pot of tea and coffee. All for a complete bargain price. I love this little shop, I work about five minutes away and we always try to stop as often as possible to buy their cupcakes for the whole team. They do so many lovely flavours, and I honestly did a little 'happy dance' when they announced their orange hot chocolates were back for this winter!
